It was listed on ProVapes site back in the day, would have happened long before you got yours. The Classic was like a red headed step child, they did a soft release without any fanfare, it was brought up in the ProVape sub forum by one of the members here, who just happened to notice them come along, I believe his username was Garemlin.
Yep, before my time I guess. I sure do enjoy them ... and now that I think about it ... I think the highest price I saw on them was $99

The joyetech Cubis Pro is a good tank and has an rda or rba.
Got mine on ebay for $10.
Thanks for chiming in on that Terry. I like the looks of the tank but it won't take "MY" coil and even if I wanted to stock up on a whole 'nother coil ... the only thing they offer above ohm is a 1ohm SS (don't do TC) and a 1.5ohm Clapton. Not a fan of clapton ... too much lag time (to heat extra surface area) when fired and too warm when my preferred vape density and volume reached.

To you new ProVarinati, there is a mountain of info contained in the old archived ProVape sub forum, it is located way way way down on the list, and the defunct supplier sub forums are arranged alphabetically, good stuff for a cold rainy day look see...

Shopping around for black tanks to go with my new (should be here Monday) black ProVari Mini. I'd like to stick with a tank that takes a Nautilus 1.8ohm coil.

- Kabuki and Vika Fantasy: Only black ones I've found were clones and they are shown as discontinued/out of stock on both 3F and FT.
- Don't particularly care for the looks of the Nautilus2. Looks GREAT when other people use it. Just not for me if you know what I mean.

SOooo ... I'm thinking about, well what about an RTA?

- I like simple tanks ... VERY simple tanks. See Kabuki and Vika above. And why I like the Doggystyle single coil RTA.
- Doggystyle doesn't come in black.

And go ~~~

I didn't get into ProVari until they were almost gone. But I did get some super deals.
You and many others got some really crazy deals, I think it is underappreciated just how much of a deal a lot of newcomers got at the end of days. These things were crazy expensive at full MSRP back in the day...At the end i was buying a mod every week or so, because my jaw was hitting the floor when I saw the closeout pricing, of course we kinda knew what it meant, but some of these things were being listed at like thirty bucks... I would just look at them and say to myself...how can I not?!

19 mm tanks look awesome on a 2.5 mini.

Just skip the trim ring.
If I do that ... I'll just use a Nautilus Mini I already have ... but it isn't black ... and that's okay if I'm not using the black tank ring anyway.

EDIT: I agree the Nautilus Mini looks awesome without a trim ring ... not sure about a Triton Mini ... for MY tastes

I really should pick some of those up.
You got me tempted, I like the range of the airflow adjustment on them and they are wicked easy to top off with that top fill method. I have never had a leak, and they vape on par with a Kabuki when I get the airflow dialed in on them. YMMV

I vape the Kabuki with the hex screw as far out as it will go before it's beyond the base diameter. Just right !!! Zen said don't remove the hex screw, it messes with tank pressure (or some science) too much, or I might vape that way. A good while back, Classy said she vaped Kabuki without the hex screw @ 9W ... don't know if that's changed or not though.

I was thinking at one time, there must be a bunch of Procyon's sitting somewhere in boxes. They didn't seem to be real popular when they came out, they came out late in ProVape's run and I don't see them often featured in pics, talked about anymore and just every now and then on the bay. Maybe ProVape just didn't make many of them. I like the one I have, mostly when playing around with the ZA-P tank but don't use it often it seems. It's a great vape though, with Kabuki or whatever !!!

Found this by Garemlin ...

"Just wondering if there has been any word on a firmware upgrade for the 2015 Classic. I know all attention is on the Radius now. Wondering if and when this will happen." ... Any word on a firmware upgrade for the Provari Classic???

Still not sure there was ever a firmware update from the original Classic ... since it was a red headed step child anyway LOL. I never saw a firmware update listed on ProVape and I distinctly looked. Classic came out in 2015 and I bought the first one summer '16. Saw updates for P3, Radius and maybe Procyon (there was a special adapter for an update for the Procyon anyway). Sent my P3's back to the mother ship TWICE for updates. Seemed like one update came out then another came out like just 3 months later. Looking ~~~
