It is unfortunate that the first comment to the article at that link contains this bit of misinformation (apparently submitted by E Cigarettes National):

"Diethylene glycol that you state only as an ingredient or chemical in anti-freeze is also in every single tobacco cigarette sold to the public. It is used as a humectant in tobacco cigarettes to keep the tobacco moist."

Other statements in that post claim to describe the behavior of all retailers in ways that can be refuted easily by citation of singular exceptions.

This is NOT the way to make our case! We must be more careful with our facts if we hope to counteract the inacurate and exaggerated claims of the FDA.

somewhere out there......
So basically we need reports of facts and evidence to case. Stop fighting over what the FDA said or facts introduced. The facts are there were deadly known chemicals in one of the carts. Even though it contained 1 percent DEG just show that the FDA were not wrong about quality control. No evidence can dispute that fact. Now there needs to be strict guidelines for the manufactures to follow there is no disputing that fact. So what need to be brought up are what steps are being taken to assure quality control.
