Pub/Bar/Drinkin' Vapin'

So, this if pretty much at all us ex smokers that loved a chuff or so with yer beer.
How are you holding out in that boozey environment when historically you could have lit up a whole pack?
I'm 3 months in with not a single chuff. Currently on a work placement where smoking is the norm (Asia) getting .... faced in an Irish bar. Thank God for Irish bars!
However despite the pathetic plumes of stinking smoke I'm rising above it with my Pineapple clouds of sweet low nicotine loveliness
Takes a bit off getting used to packing a mod and spare juice in my pocket. Hell I might even get metrosexual and get a manbag for my vapin' gear.
I'm surviving though and seriously enjoying it!
How are you all doing when 3 sheets to wind?

Ha ha. I struggled at first, back when I was on the Nautilus Mini with it's little single coil at 7watts.

After a few pints the stinkies did look tempting.

These days I only vape multi coil sub-ohm builds and have no interest in the death sticks.

Once you've got the right setup (for you) there's no going back.

Just got back and do you know what? No stinking fingers or nauseous feeling from pub chain smoking.
Had to have a quick Darth Vader impression on my TFV4 but I'm over the analogue's and have seemed to have learned a 2nd language called vapespeak!

IDK, been almost 30 years since it's been legal to smoke (or vape) indoors at a public place , here in California.. Got used to smoke/vape free drinking a looong time ago. Heck they are even banning smoking at the beach, in parks and in the forest here Now the forest I get, they catch fire. But at the beach????

Not long ago, I used to live in the Philippines ... One of the things I really liked about living there was that you could vape almost anywhere (except in hospitals and a few select buildings).

To this day, you can still smoke cigarettes in almost any bar in the Philippines (and some restaurants too).

Well UK is pretty anti smoking but here in Malaysia it's absolutely the norm. I would give up during my off time rotation and start again the minute I landed in KL. 1st time I've not felt the need.
Saying that they are getting busy banning vaping round here. These emerging markets love their tobacco tax......

There have been a few times after having too many drinks at the bar that I have bummed an analog. Each time, it confirms that I am over the analogs. When I do it, I do it because I did it for so many years and it is an attempt at nostalgia - however I am just plain disgusted by the taste/smell and cannot finish the whole thing.

Unfortunately, my city recently banned vaping in bars and all other enclosed "public" places. This was done not because there was some great public outcry favoring it, but rather because it was promoted by a few well organized and well financed "health" organizations, such as Campaign for Tobacco-free Kids. Of course, it would be a very great tragedy indeed if all those children hanging out in bars were to observe something that bears a superficial resemblance to smoking and bar owners cannot be trusted to make proper decisions about what to allow in their own establishments.
