As we know all too well, it's not about anyone's health, it's about the MONEY. It's about states with Master Settlement Agreements with BT that are losing a lot of money because they spent it before they even had it, it's about actuarial data of people dying early from smoking so health insurance saves money after collecting decades of premiums, and it's about lost taxes on sales of billions of packs of cigarettes.

It's just about THE MONEY.

The reference to methadone clinics is only to point out the hypocrisy in practice when it comes to harm reduction. I didn't take it in the context of addiction in the context of this article, but I may have missed something.
