Pulling e-juice into my mouth on draw.

Ok this doesn't happen all the time, but often enough. Sometime when I take a draw of my 510 With a catridge I get e-juice in my mouth. I am using the blue foam filler in my cartridge. This also happened before switching to the blue foam.

My best guess is my old atty isn't getting hot enought to vaporize all the juice and I am pulling up unvaped juice through. Or I am just over filling, but this occurs even when I know there isn't too much liquid left in the filler.

I blow out my atty and we are good to go for a bit, then it starts again.

Just looking for thought and suggestions :D Thanks all.

i had this problem at first too...my first guess is that you're simply drawing too hard. My second guess would have been over filling but you indicated that its happening even when you know a cart isn't overly full. Takes me back to #1, don't draw quite as hard. A long slow steady draw, 5-6 seconds, is more effective than pulling hard. Remember, its not a cigarette, so the technique is a little different.

Hope that helps.

This is not unusual, it certainly happened to me. I found that I was pulling too hard. It helped to slow waaaay down and just take a long shallow drag. That helped but wasn't the cure. That's why I went to cartomizers and then dripping.

With a cartomizer take the white caps out and use a drip tip. This was a night and day difference for me.

If you are still getting juice in your mouth put a little plug of blue foam (you don't want it so big that it will interfere with the coil) in first and that will help filter the juice. Make sure you clean the foam when it gets saturated.

This forum is an excellent source of information!

I've been having the same problem you've had. I didn't have the problem much with my original prosmoke, but the 510 is so much easier to draw on that I have to watch it. Also, my prosmoke had an automatic battery so I'm still getting used to pushing that button in advance. I guess there's a slight learning curve.

I had this issue when I first started as well. I was drawing too hard and getting a little juice on my lips.

Just something else I want to point out that happens to me sometimes. If I vape a lot in a short period of time, some condensation or steam seems to build up on the mouth end of my carto. If I don't notice it and I let it touch my lips it feels like juice got on my lips. But after looking at it I can tell it is not straight juice. You may or may not have this. I just thought I would share in case that may be part of what you are experiencing.
