Hey guys, I just got ahold of my first squonker and I’m looking for a good build for it. I hear about people getting a really hot intense vape from tube mods and I want to put a similar build in this. What kind of builds are you guys running?

I’m using a dual coil 8 wrap 3mm id of ni80. Ohms to right around .18 I think. I have the icon rda and my battery is a 3000mah 3.7V but I’m not sure on the amperage of it.

Is the battery an 18650?
Do you only have the nichrome wire? What is the AWG?

The batteries are LG HG2 and I did the build myself with 22g nichrome. It is the only wire I use because it heats up a little faster. Is there a better wire I could be using?

Using your .18 ohm build, you are drawing over 23amps.
The LG HG2 is rated for only 18amps.
Get some Sony VTC5a's if you want to build that low, otherwise rebuild to .3ohm or above.

The build you are using, should get what you're looking for safely, using a VTC5a

Im also using the Pulse bf with a Pulse 24. I'm currently using a dual coil 22 awg N80, 9 wraps around 3mm and reads at .19/.2 ohms. I also use vtc5a and 5 leg Ijoy 20700 batteries. But I'm noticing that it takes about 3 to 4 seconds to fully ramp up. Is this normal? Once it gets going it's decent.
