O.K. So Valentines Day a snowy Valentines Day in 2007. I left work early in a snow storm with a plan in mind. I drove all the way to to.Philadelphia in the snow about a 45 minute ride but over an hour in the snow. I went down to Jewelers Row an area with a bunch of jewelry stores. I bought my girlfriends engagement ring and began to walk the five blocks back down where I had to park. On the way there one of those salt spreader trucks passes me and while passing me I got pelted with rocks of salt and splashed by a puddle of slushy water that the truck drove through. I was ...... I guess the truck didnt see me. So what could I do? Nothing I got in my car brushed it of and headed home. On the way home I ended up getting a flat tire and had to put the mini spare on. Now it was 5:00 the time I usually get home and my girlfriend is calling wondering where I am. I had to tell her I was working late so she wouldn't get any ideas of what I was doing. Finally got home called her and told her to come outside it was an emergency. She came running out to where I was down on one knee in the snow. She said yes and cried and hugged me and then said oh no dinner!! We ran inside and the smoke alarms were going off like crazy. She had been cooking tacos and left it cooking when she ran outside thinking it was an emergency. Dinner was burnt to death!! Best Valentines Day ever!!

Here, there, everywhere!
OK I used to work in an ICU for heart bypasses and I was at work when this occurred..........mind you I did NOT have a boyfriend at the time either.......

I got a dozen yellow roses from........someone??? Then I got a dozen red roses from......someone??? Then I got a dozen pink roses with a card that said......."cause you are worth it".

Eventually with lots of prying I finally found out the yellow ones were from a guy friend of mine because he was afraid I wouldn't get anything since I wasn't dating anyone and the pink were from a my ex-boyfriends best friend and as for the red......never found out who those were from.

Until that year and actually since then I had / have never received a dozen roses for any occasion.

Okay here is my story. Several years ago I was dating this guy who kept complaining that he never got a valentine. He said why was it that women got valentines and never men Complain Complain Complain. So I thought I would give him a valentine he never would forget. I got some cardboard and made a huge valentine costume Well when valentine"s day came I went to his work put the costume on and shouted in front of him and all his co-workers Happy Valentine"s Day Needless too say not only did he say he got his first valentine but he got the biggest box of valentine candy he ever saw.

ok ok...this totally didn't happen to me but it happened to my best friend...it's hilarious

So this is the first Valentines Day her and husband are spending together after the wedding....she buys this really cute red teddy from VS turns off all the lights in the condo. She goes running into the bedroom to surprise her husband. Rounds the corner and runs smack dab into the wall knocking out her front tooth and knocking herself out! lol....her husband waits like 15 mins and wonders what the hell is taking so long..finds her on the floor passed out with a bloody lip and a really hot sexy teddy on. lol

LOL....they called her dentist and spent Valentines getting a vanier put in! Isn't that crazy!
so yeah.....

Valentines Day 1999.

My boyfriend and I worked at a Restuarant that was moving.
He was the Kitchen Manager and I was the Floor Manager so we both had to work and supervise the move.
There was about 10 servers and cooks loading the trucks.

I was outside taking inventory and someone called me in.

I walked in and everyone who was employed there, about 45 people, were standing in the foyer.

My boyfriend was on his knee with a dozen of gorgeous roses and an engagement ring
He asked me to marry him and in front of everyone who watched our love start and grow :)

I was so nervous and caught off guard, I turned and ran out the front door.
The whole group ran after me, my boyfriend stopped me and asked "Will you marry me"?
I was crying and pulled him close and said yes, we must of hugged and kissed forever
as everyone clapped and cheered and congratulated us:)

I think about this every Valentines Day :D
We got married 7 months later and are now going on 14 years!!!!!!
