Me, me on the breadcrust - can't have too much of that:facepalm:

I've started ordering 30ml bottles - suddenly my 10ml bottles are looking empty! I have a hard time predicting what to order in 30mls though - that's a huge bottle:D

I'd be down to share. With shipping costs, though, it would only make sense if we did a many flavors at one time. Whether we ship one ml or 50, the shipping charge is the same with USPS flat rate boxes.

Did that sound like an advertisement?

I was just looking into getting FA flavors on PV today, and I saw what I imagine would be a wonderful vape: Strawberry Shortcake.

I'm just getting back into DIY, so I don't want to spend the money on pre-mixed flavors, but I'd love to know if anyone knows the recipe for this. I'd be all over it. :)

Thanks!

Hey Emilie - Here's one from Nikhil

Here's the approximate recipe for my Strawberry Shortcake:

75% Unflavored base liquid
10% FA Strawberry
10% FA Vienna Cream
3% TFA Graham Cracker
2% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

You can substitute different brands, but I don't know of an equivalent for Vienna Cream or Graham Cracker. Capella Vanilla Custard can probably be used in place of PA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

Personally, the percentages seem a bit high for me, but you could use it as a starting point. I'd also switch the TFA Vanilla Bean for FA's Vanilla Tahiti...or another vanilla.

20% for just the FA flavorings? Wow....I'd tend to do something with FA strawberry and cookie - but at a fraction of those percentages! Come to think of it, it would be worth trying Bryong's Lemon Cookie recipe, but substitute lemon for strawberry.

I am one of those lurkers in the shadows! Haven't contributed any recipes since I don't really have any of my own yet. I've only been in the DIY realm a few months, and have thus far been cranking out my ADV from a clone recipe I stumbled upon a few months back. I came upon this thread while searching for other ideas and actually read it all the way through, which I'm very glad for. Learned a great deal from all the flavor wizards here, and want to try out many of these recipes.

When I made first DIY purchase, I already knew exactly what I wanted to get because of the recipe I'd already found online. It called for a few TFA flavorings so I got a small bit to try out. Recipe turned out great, so immediately bought a good bit more of those specific flavorings. That supply is finally used up, so time to order more and will definitely be making a shopping list within the next couple weeks for a ton of FA flavors. I lean towards the fruity stuff (wife would roll eyes at that statement), and the recipes from Bryong70 are especially appealing, but even the dessert stuff you guys post here makes me want to try them all out!

Anyway, while I intend to try out a bunch of stuff from this subforum, I will also appeal to you to see if my current ADV can be translated from TFA to FA. What I use now is

Blueberry Extra 8%
Pomegranate 3%
Vanilin 4%

It's a great flavor to me, but wish I could reduce the last one down a bit, or completely. I've tried and oddly enough I miss the sweetness. Would love to get this vape purely from FA if possible so if anyone has ideas on similar % with FA products please let me know.

I love this subforum and look forward to all the future flavor pairings you guys come up with.

I recently made a blueberry cheesecake using FA bilberry- it's a very, very strong flavor. I ended up using it at 1%. I haven't tried the pomegranate yet, but I do have it in my stash - maybe someone can chime in on a percentage for that one?

I absolutely love the Pomegranate 2%-3% and your good (like most of the FA fruits).

Here is a couple POM recipes

Blood Pom (my new version)
2% Pomegranate (FA)
2.5% Strawberry (FA)
1% Black Cherry (FA)

The black cherry gives the pomegranate a bite, very tasty, one of my many favorites
And for you Cream lovers

Custard's Pom
1% Pomegranate (FA)
1% Strawberry (FA)
6% Vanilla Custard V2 (Cap)
2% Custard (FA)

I might try this - does the new V2 taste like the old one? I have a bottle of the old stuff, so it might give me an idea of taste. I usually find that custard really cloying, but this recipe looks delicious!

Thanks for coming out of the shadows ;) I hope other lurkers follow your lead.

I would do that as 1.5% FA Bilberry, 1.5% FA Pomegranate, 1% FA Vanilla Classic (closest one to vanilin), and try it for while before adjusting the Bilberry/Pom balance.

Be prepared for realistic fruit flavors with FA! If you're looking for candy flavors, there aren't many that can be used like that. I think anyone who loves vaping fruity mixes would be very happy with lots of FA flavors. Let everyone know how they go over with you and your wife as you try them out.

Great! That's exactly what I need for flavor % comparison. will definitely start out low with FA.

I never used the old version cause of Acetyl Proprionyl, Diacetyl, Acetoine. From what wllc says, V2 is like the old verion, but better.

Problem is, there is no decent cake flavor that does not contain diacetyl or substitutes. FA's Pandoro is a rich, lemony pound cake (I couldn't help it - I HAD to try!) but it has an inhalation warning. It's a real shame, because it sure beats the other plain cakes I've tried. With some FA Strawberry and Fresh Cream, it would make great shortcake. ...and yes, Pandoro sits with my baking supplies now, looking so sad.
