Thanks for coming out of the shadows ;) I hope other lurkers follow your lead.

I would do that as 1.5% FA Bilberry, 1.5% FA Pomegranate, 1% FA Vanilla Classic (closest one to vanilin), and try it for while before adjusting the Bilberry/Pom balance.

Be prepared for realistic fruit flavors with FA! If you're looking for candy flavors, there aren't many that can be used like that. I think anyone who loves vaping fruity mixes would be very happy with lots of FA flavors. Let everyone know how they go over with you and your wife as you try them out.
That sounds fantastic! Will definitely let everyone know how it turns out, but may be a couple weeks before I get the order off. Was definitely unsure how to replace vanilin so that's a huge help!

I would've lurked for longer too had it not been for your earlier post. Your dessert recipes make me want to eat all my peas and carrots, then the drink recipes remind me I'm old enough to ditch the veggies! [emoji1]

Thank you much pointing me towards the right direction! And, wifey no vape she just knows I'm fruity most the time!

Well, phooey. I'm trying to clone my fav juice and haven't got it yet. Should be simple! A peach cobbler with no peach taste (or I can't taste it). Pastry crust with a touch of cinnamon. Been working with apple pie and cookie, different %'s. I'll get it, can't give up. Also trying to get my laptop to print wirelessly to hubbys printer. Instructions were easy, just not working! Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Passunca's recipes | dot1ml

So I definitely recognize some names in these recipes (HIC, we2rcool etc..) which makes it somewhat easy. Is there a way to maybe add PV or FA after their names so we know they are recipes from this thread, and recipes that only use FA?

ex- #headinclouds-PV
#we2rcool-PV

nice work Passunca!

Lots of eager FAns here happy to help if you want! Many of us use(d) TFA.

I'm in the process of converting some of those creams over... Waiting on restock of 1mL syringes (tomorrow according to tracking) to get technical about it... So playing with the new FA flavors in the meantime... I'm impressed so far. But of course I went off your opinions in the first of this thread! ;) Your Thread Famous!

Did you check out HIC's blog? I'm pretty sure he has something there that's what you're looking for!

Another lurker here... Still trying to adjust from my old standby TFA to FA... so no recipes yet...
I know the feeling, it's tough trying to figure out a good translation from the voluminous posts here.

Probably the easiest subforum to lurk though, in the whole galaxy!

Perhaps some FA's Cinnamon Ceylon (sp?).... I haven't played with it but it's supposed to be more spice, less candy... so maybe a low % with the Apple Pie?

I honestly didn't think my account was active... lol... Lurked around here for almost 6 years and never posted or joined.... Until this thread. LOL! And only then really for DIY Sub in general. ;)
LOL! If the vape's not good the rest doesn't matter and the cigs will win. I'd say you picked a great starting point!

tell us your recipe. I like both Peach flavors and think White Peach is a touch more concentrated (so I use a lower percent), yet a less bold flavor (so I use White if the other flavors are milder ones). Sorry if that makes no sense. I'd leave Cookie out of it until the peach tastes right. Sometimes Cookie can change other flavors. I've never tried it with a peach, though.

6 years - whoa! You've been vaping that long? I'll bet you've tried every flavoring brand out there.

Actually nope... I DIY'd off and on as the mood suited, but was strictly TFA until this week... This thread inspired me to branch out.... Well that and there's only a few TFA's I can't live without.... So I put in a PV order and now there's a few FA I can't live without! LOL... And it'll be 6 years officially this Fall... though I do admit to dual use for the most part.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I went back through my notes and found HIC's - apple pie to get crust flavor, add cookie to get cobbler. And, - use apple pie 2:1 ratio with cookie. So, I have been making testers, adding .5% at a time. Now I'm also testing with a bit of cinnamon ceylon to see if that makes a difference. All ideas are very welcome! Like I said, I can't taste the peach at all in the vendors juice, which is fine. I just want to make my juice fresh, save some money, and not have to rely on someone. And try all the tasty recipes!

Have you tried the peach as a stand alone?
Can you taste it?
What %?
I think it's a pretty mild flavor so anything & everything overpowers it IMO.

FA Liquid Amber (or 'Amber' according to purevapes) - mmmm!

If you like fruit recipes with a touch of Brandy, or you like baked fruit flavor, I think you'd like Liquid Amber. The descriptions I've read are all correct - "warm and smooth flavor with a hint of fresh fruit and a delicate sourness in the aftertaste". At 3% standalone, it gives a hint of (apple? pear? is it even fruit?), a bit of sweetness you taste in the far back of your throat, and undertones of sour throughout. The sour is not a sweet-tart candy effect, but more like some good alcoholic beverage - a fruit-based one, for sure.

As a small addition to Apple and Fuji, it "complexifies" the flavor. That is too a word, lol. Using mostly Liquid Amber with a touch of Pear, Apple, or Apricot - the touch of fruit flavor is still there. It becomes pear- (apple-, apricot-) flavored Amber. Though it reminds me of adding Brandy, it's a much smoother effect. So if Brandy kicks too hard for you, you'll prefer this, and you'll get a similar effect.

I added Liquid Amber to the tank of Dusk that I could hardly taste, and the Dusk flavor was revealed. The combination was just okay - but the fact that Amber had that effect interests me.

Misswish - I wonder if it would give your peach the flavor you want.

As a standalone flavor, anywhere from 2-5% tastes great to me. I didn't bother trying higher, but I have a feeling it would be fine far past that. I can not vape plain Brandy, but this is an all-day-vape type of flavor for me.

edit: I want to make the flavor of "Sparkling Ice Orange-Mango". It's a lightly-flavored sparkling water. Mostly Orange (maybe Mandarin), tiny bit of Mango, Champagne for bubbles, maybe Koolada, and Liquid Amber for the tart bit. I suppose I could make a 'flat' version now, since I still need Champagne.
