Puresmoke ace question

Hey guys. I bought a ACE kit, a low resistance atomizer, a spare battery, and a bottle of e liquid this morning at approximately 8:30am. I awoke to a ding on my phone around 3:00pm, and it had already shipped! GREAT service! Major props to the people at Puresmoker.

Now to my question. Coming from the Blu, I had a Battery, a Atomizer, and a cartridge. IS the KR8 the same deal? I could not find cartomizers or carts for sale filled or not for this e cig. So the question this poses is, with what I bought above, does it come with any blank carts? Or am I going to be waiting on another shipment from somewhere else before I can use it? That would really bum me out.

No idea. It should have listed what it comes with.

is Puresmoke ACE ia KR808D-1? Might come with some cartos and might not. I'd expect it to at least come with some blank cartos. And I mean cartos - cartomizers. KR808D-1 is a dedicated 2-piece. If you want to use it as a 3-piece you can buy a DSE901 atty and carts (or drip tip if you got manual batteries - dripping not recommended on auto batteries). Or 510 atty and carts with and adapter needed to attach it.

Is this what you bought? It lists what it comes with.

With that kit it says it does not come with any "Atomz" which I think is their name for cartomizers. But also lists 1 Atomz in the contents. You will need more than 1! You can get a few days to a week out of a carto if you fill it well to start, let it soak in, and always keep it damp with juice. If you run it dry you can singe the stuffing and ruin a carto.

It does come with a DSE901 atomizer but doesn't list 901 carts or a drip tip? You may need both of those too.

here are their cartos

And you can also buy ones from Vapor4Life.com and there are some nice premium blanks at LiteCigUSA.net (the standard resistance Premium ones for KR808D-1)

And I don't recommend an LR atty on any slim ecigarette battery. They can be too much power draw for the internal switches and electronics of the battery and kill it.

To make sure I get the most out of my ACE, I just sent another order. This time for 20 Blank Cartomizers, A Gold drip tip, A passthrough, a non charging carrying case (PCC is out of stock, I assume for good) , and a 15mL bottle of "Caseys Clove". That brings my total investment to $110.00. I sure hope with all these goodies that I will be satisfied with this for a long time to come.

KR808D-1 is a good unit. One of the two most recommended model lines on this forum.

This is a helpful video. Vapor4Life carto caps are softer now and I can easily pop one off with an unbent small paper clip stuck in the mouth-end hole just enough to pop the cap. I usually hold a tissue on the threaded end when adding juice and if the stuffing is tight I rotate the carto to aim drops into different parts of the stuffing. When done, I clean up if it dripped, tilt open end down and blow into the threaded end to clear the air channel. If it was a fresh fill I rotate it different ways to help distribute the juice - you want all of the stuffing to be wet before you vape it of you could singe the stuffing. Then recap and vape. if it seems dry at all, rotate it more or try to add more juice.

When i am vaping, if the vapor gets lighter or drier, I tilt the ecig carto down for 5 seconds. if that doesn't fix the vapor then it is time for more juice. I take it off the battery, add 5-8 drops, more if it wants it, makes sure it's dry and clean on the threaded end, puff to clear the air channel and cap.

This video includes how to straighten the air channel. if you cannot see light through the carto then the air channel may need straightening. A crooked air channel can cause a really hard drag. I have gotten extra days out of a carto by straightening the channel.
