Hey Friends!

First of all, thank you guys so much for all of your input regarding the Twitter poll. We really took everything you all said into consideration when trying to figure out what we were going to do about this whole thing. That being said, here's the deal (and let's please not start a riot!).

Updating here is great, but quickly turns chaotic. Not all of our customers choose to take part in the forums, and some of the people I send over here for updates are a bit lost and confused. I started updating here to cut back on the amount of PMs and tickets I was seeing per day, and it seems that it has actually done just the opposite. I'm seeing a mountain of stuff everyday coming in asking about something I just posted, or if a particular order made it in under the wire, etc etc etc. I love you all, but this makes it really tough for me to get back to everyone in a timely manner.

So, here's what we're doing. I've set up a Twitter account- twitter.com/puresmoker. The reason we decided to go with a twitter is simple. You can link the Twitter updates to an RSS feed that people can subscribe to. The updates will display on the side of our homepage (puresmoker.com) and you all can subscribe to it as well. This doesn't mean that I won't be on here anymore, but I will only be posting 1 daily update here per day. The Twitter can be updated as products come in, and that will be the most up to date place to get information (and other fun pieces of info!)

I know that many of you were concerned with having so many things to check- but hear me out. Just put the Twitter into your bookmarks, and it will pop up with everything you need to know on a single page. That's it. No more wading through hundreds of posts to find what you're looking for- just click the link.

Again, I hope that this doesn't upset too many of you, as I'm trying to make sure that everything gets answered in a timely fashion, and updating here just doesn't help get that done. Much love, and thanks for the support!

I know VERY little about tweeter. I've look at the site a couple of times and I still don't understand it.

Is it a two way communication? Or do you just see whom you are watching post without being able to respond?

I hate to admit it but there are so many new things its hard to keep up unless I have a real interest in it.

I suppose the poll really served a different purpose given the 2-1 against result.

Sorry, Gary, but I tried my best- can never satisfy everyone. As I said, I'll still be posting 1 daily update over here, but that will be the most up to date information. You don't even have to go to Twitter to see it- there's a widget with the updates in it on our homepage as well.

Well, it turned into a turn of the century argument against the automobile by a bunch of horse owners. Sometimes you have to drag people into the future kicking and screaming.
LOL, yeah, the art of communication in 140 characters or less. The real reason updates are on twitter now is there are way to many whining babies here that need their hands held, and Casey is the only one available. Twitter is allowing her to communicate less. Which means it's being used exactly as intended - reduce communication.

The future is the destruction of green space in service to cookie-cutter housing developments. The future is the destruction of wild water in service to the coal, poultry and pork industries. The future is the FDA taking away your e-cit because in the future the government grows like everything else. The future is people communicating about these things and more being reduced in the service of speed. The faster you talk, the less you think. It's why people like it so much - thinking is hard, chatting is easy.

im suprised, 2-1 against having twitter (44-22) yet we still have it. I guess votes truly dont count heh.

Hey Trav, the votes were really important to helping me figure out how to handle the forum from now on in the best way possible for me and you all. The Twitter page had to happen because again, the majority of our customers have no idea what ECF is about, and how to navigate it. This is easy for them. As I said earlier, I'll still be posting 1 daily update here, I just can't continue to monitor it all day- takes me forever to get everything else done that way.

Sadly, its one of the smallest components holding us up ;) The delrin insulator on the adapters ... that small/round piece .... who would have thunk it .... LOL

I know how it goes just another long week but something to look forward for next week...Keep up the good work Cash and PS, so looking forward to ordering a "new" Prodigy!
