I just flushed a strong flavored fruity type juice out my RBA tank w/water. Dry burned, flushed, dry burn, flushed, etc several times. I filled the tank w/unflavored nic base & still taste a fairly strong hint of the previous juice. Will the residual flavor eventually purge out of the wick? If so, any idea how long it'll take?

I found that with my SS mesh the previous flavor would linger for around 1mL of use if I hadn't rinsed the wick.

Yeah, it's a solid #500 SS mesh wick in an AGA T2. I can tell the sweet fruity taste is fading a bit already. This is my first test of unflavored & I wasn't sure how long the residual taste would linger before I could really see what it's like. You saved me from tearing a perfectly good (& fairly fresh) setup apart to clean. Thanks.
I usually soak my wicks in IPA overnight, rinse it thoroughly in the morning with warm water, and let it dry. That takes care of my residual flavors pretty much 100% of the time. Most people recommend vodka over IPA, but I can't legally purchase vodka yet, so....

Well the hint of sweetness persisted until I finally tore everything down & cleaned it up good. Turns out what I thought was residual flavor is actually the taste of the nic base. It's not nearly as bland as I thought it'd be & I really like it - I sure didn't see that one coming!
the only juice ive had get stuck on my wicks was Pluid, otherwise my usual wash and steam gets rid of any trace flavors.
