Ok,, I have been looking at Bengals and Somalis for a while trying to decide which one.... And I still like them both Today I put my deposit down for a male Bengal kitten so loved loved the parents of the litter... born Aug 1 and wont be ready until they 12 wks old. I am wondering if I can also add a female Somalis love the Ruddy color.. I haven't connected to a breeder yet on the Somalis. They will be fixed.

Oooooh, bengals! It's like having a little leopard. Well, not so little, I think they get pretty big for domestic cats. Is the litter all the same color? And somalis, oh my! So beautiful! I've always wondered what their tails look like when they're frightened, LOL

yes all the same they are all the brown/black rosetted this is a previous litter from the sire with a simular in color female.
also found several cat all ideas which is so do able especially this one KatWALLks Cat Furniture, Cat Trees, Cat Perches

We did our best to make our house a cat prison, LOL. We gave away our cat tree and a large (high) entertainment center, and had a carpenter box in our kitchen cabinets. Penny broke her leg 2 years ago. We have no idea how it happened, but we decided to get rid of everything high that they could fall off of just in case it was a fall from a high place. They still get on top of the refrigerator, and we have fits every time two of them start play fighting up there. We know Penny didn't fall from the fridge because she was downstairs when it happened, but I still worry someone's going to fall from there and get hurt. I know I can't prevent accidents from happening anymore than parents can prevent them with human children, but we do our best to catproof/childproof the house. It was great before that happened though. They loved that cat tree and being on top of the cabinets!

I've got pictures of them on top of the cabinets, but I can't find any right now.

Those are gorgeous kittens Patricia! Do they get to be pretty big? With a dog as big as Arka, you probably need to supersize your cats too.

Patricia, just to be clear, I'm in no way saying you shouldn't put up perches and climbing places for your cats. It's their instinct. It makes them happy to climb and jump and watch the world from a perch above everything. And we don't even know if Penny's broken leg was the result of falling from a high place. We'll never know. I just hope we never have to go through that again. It was very long 3 month recovery process for her. Since she couldn't run around until her leg was completely healed, she had to be kept isolated in a room by herself, with no furniture in it. She was not a happy kitty, and her brother was miserable as well! So in case the fracture was from a fall, we decided to try to reduce the chances of it happening again. That's just us. I really wish we could make our house look like this one.....

ah, an f4 or f5-lucky you-I can't think of any local breeders who sell the wilder ones around here, don't see many Somalis though at work. I want a chocolate point Siamese someday maybe, miss my chocolate lynx point rescued girl! my uncle had bengals and yeah, we get some at work-LOVE them, LOVE the voices! love the purrsonalities. I also love plain old tuxedo cats too. Congrats on your new kitty-have fun! yeah, a house like that would be sweet!!! wow-cat heaven!

I really did love my tuxedo cat Rowen... barn cat,, she hated to stay in the house to stay.. She crazy mad at me during the blizzards when I brought her in to make sure she was ok...

CES, I thought that at first. Then I realized there would be food all over the floor. My cats already play with their food. Tyler particularly loves to bat it around the floor and chase it.

Ah. good point. You can see I'm more used to dogs...it wouldn't work that well for them either though. One would bark at it and probably end up breaking it, another would just stare at it helplessly and whimper. (he's an incredible sweetie, but might be a few sandwiches short of a picnic)
