Any genny has the potential to leak if laid on it's side for extended periods of times, just the way they are designed with the placement of the air hole.

With the fill screw in there's much less potential, the only way for juice to get in the cap is around the wick but it still can happen. With the fill screw left out it wicks better in some cases but then you have 2 points of entry for juice into the cap. It's usually minimal if it does and it takes quite a while of being left on it's side for it to happen.

so fill screw in when at work, but bring a mini screw driver to remove from time to time, and instead of leaving it in my cargo pocket all day place it on my desk... hmmm i guess i can swing that... just like to keep it out of sight and out of mind... but while i enjoy my protank i want something more... again thanks for all the help... now just gotta bide my time to get the aga t2...

on a side note anyone know of a good place to get a set up similar to this

Replacement Springs, Washers, and nuts for RATank - $7.99 | DFWvapor.com, The Best US E-Liquid Made!

i think itd make the aga t2 amazingly better

Yeah. Go to the hardware store. The stainless washers are 10-19 cents each, and the springs are virtually the same as several sections cut out of the spring that comes in a disposable, retractable pen. (You do have some of those laying around?) The AGA-T's usually come with a spare nut or two in addition to the ones on it already, and you'll have to remove some of those for the spring to fit anyways.

I also recomment puiking up some stainless M3 screws while at the hardware store. Anything from 2mm to 4 mm long is fine. These machine screws are a big improvement over the phillips heads screws the AGA's ship with.

I can add a + for the AGA-T2 I did not get my original one from 101vape but have picked up another to do a different finish on as well as a spare glass piece. I played around with the various builds on it but found I like cotton the best.

Battery is a bit weak after chiefing on it for 5 hours but it works!

awesome so its set, aga t2 it is, and modifying it to be spring based instead of 3 nuts as well... now payday just needs to get here... now PLANofMAN do you know what size washer i would be looking for?

I am looking to order probably on payday and will be able to go grab the washers, maybe a clicky pen and some stainless m3 screws so when it arrives i am ready to go... now with a hand drill will i be able to increase the air hole? or will i need to take it somewhere? and if it will, what type of drill bits will i need to drill it? what about drilling the wick hole for a larger wick? about how large is it now? sorry if im overwhelming... im excited gyeeee

You can probably do it with a hand drill and a vise if you are good with the drill and steady. I just use a drill press for these things, there is one around every corner at work. I built on the AGA-T2 stock to see how it was. I will probably leave the wick hole standard because it works well with cotton. I will be enlarging the air hole in the cap, draw is a teeny bit too tight for me.

Edit: Cobalt drill bits.

The washers I used on the Aga-T were too big for the T+ (I just grabbed the smallest ss washers I could find that worked at the hardware store), but someone found some smaller ones that worked:

In hindsight, one washer works better than two.

So with this in mind, I would probably do better to just get the agat2? is there a better pyrex/glass gennie out there that is reasonably priced or just downright cheap?

sorry to bold that but ive asked questions in the past and had get a kayfun sent my way...

i dont have that kind of cash to spend... so looking for something good, that is affordable

thanks all
Well, there is the Kayfun clone: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10006473/1552300-kayfun-lite-styled-rebuildable-atomizer-4-5ml $26.70
and the Fogger clone: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10005572/1582000-fogger-v3-glass-tank-rebuildable-atomizer-6-0ml $26.81
It could take a month or two to get to you, but in my opinion, would be worth the wait. Both are made of stainless steel. The Kayfun has a stainless tank, and the Fogger has a Pyrex tank. Both have adjustable airflow.

If you are going against the RSST because of the plastic components, it's very possible they are not plastic, but silicone just like the silicone caps on protanks, and center pin insulators on RBAs which have zero issues with any juices.

From that picture posted above they definitely look like silicone, can anyone who owns the Pyrex version confirm or deny? If so no worries about any juices.

Thanks PLAN, so the reason I want two washers is the first (smallest i can find) will go on first then the spring then the second washer...

and i appreciate the suggestions but i want to stick to the aga t2 for now...ill keep working my way up slowly, enjoying the journey... i have settled in on the aga t2, am actually getting 2 used from the classifieds section for 20 with 1.5mm air holes... though i am thinking getting one of the top caps drilled to 2 or 2.5 would be better...

I luv my RSST so many wicking options, doesnt leak, but there are 2 peeves... the fill hole silicone plug is designed wrong, use a ball instead of a taper, the top cap can fall off if bumped against something, leaving you frantically searching/backstepping your last 100 yards.
BUT the Kayfun and its clones are very good too... I have a KFC on order.
