You can not make threads in glass

What if one were to make a protank style piece of glass with 2 threaded plastic rings that fit onto it. Might lose a little capacity, but it should be doable.

If I can make them with delrin stainless or something I'll make a bunch and we'll all be good I'll be trying next week if I have the time, I have some ideas.
