Well, no... not on the outside but then you'll be taking the tape off each time to refill. I thought you meant on the outside of the part of the cartridge that would go inside the atomizer housing. Which would be more likely to be heated up. The best solution here is to get the correct 901 carts from dietsmokes. That's only for the 'new attys' from Innovapor... although they can fit the regular atty but it's even a tighter fit and you have to exert more force to put them on and take them out.
Oh, OK, well that's a relief; I had been doing this a few times already. No, I agree absolutely, I wouldn't put an adhesive
inside the PV anywhere.
I agree, it is a slight inconvenience with the tape, it was just my on-the-spot no-brainer "kludge". I think I'm going to keep my carts separated into ones for the 901 and ones for the 510 so I don't have to do that anyway.
As far as buying 901 specific carts, I know this is ridiculous, like buying a car for its color, but I like using white round carts instead of orange or whistle carts (I guess "De gustibus non est disputandum"), and I haven't found any specifically for the 901. If I came across some, I would get them. The ones at dietsmokes appear to be black whistletips, unless I'm just not seeing other available options...

... Do you mean even if the tape is on the outside? That didn't even occur to me. This is all relatively new to me. Are you talking about the makeup of the adhesive that could potentially get sucked in through a loose fitting?
