I found a tobacco juice I like. However it burns my throat like many of them do. Even after fresh topoff.

I smoked Camels for years because they were the easiest on my throat. I could find only one cheap cigarette for which I could stand the burn (for anybody still smoking, that would be the new Pall Mall orange, which doesn't really taste of oranges).

I always figured Camels had something in them to coat the throat for less burn. Heck maybe it was just a lot more tar. Who knows.

Bottom line is I'm looking for suggestions for reducing throat burn in a tobacco flavored juice. Not VG. I tried it and it burned way too much. And I would only want another TOBACCO flavored juice, assuming that juice would do the trick.

Thanks,
:) Dave

Well I have read of others complaining of a sore throat from VG. If you haven't tried VG and you are thinking about it, it might be worth a forum search :)

And my theory, though I don't know whether it is true, is that if the juice is burning my throat, then it's burning my stomach :(

Still looking for cutting juice (PG) with something to reduce throat burn...

Thanks,
:) Dave

I agree with Hangtime. I have tried both and PG about kills my throat. I also smoked Pall Mall Orange when I was smoking, because it wasn't so hard on my throat and they were cheap. With my plain old Glycerine (VG) I do not have any burn at all but also not much throat hit. Although I enjoy the VG more, I think it is reacting weirdly with my body. I know this is off topic and kinda weird, but it seemed to be affecting my stool. So I quit using it until today, because I couldnt take the PG burning any longer. Anyone else have this problem? I am gonna give it another try and see how it reacts this time...

I've read about the 'stool' situation. I personally didn't have that problem. What I did notice was for the first couple of weeks with VG was a lot of flatulence. Did you quit smoking analogs? That I think has a lot of effect on the changes in your body, after about 3-4 days off analogs I got really sick at work(not vomiting but felt like I wanted to). Now I believe I went through detox from those nasty ... analogs. I was still getting my nicotine but my body wanted that other crap it was so used to after 21 years of having it. I also had a slight sore throat for a little bit, few days. It's been 35 days now and I use vg/pg mix and vary my nic as I want it. At work I hardly vape at all but at home I chain vape after my son goes to bed. Hope this helps some.

Hangtime,
You and i are in about the same boat. Strangely, according to our sigs, we quit the same day, which is kinda neat. But yeah, I havent had an analog since that day. i am also to the point that I rarely use it at work (and I would always take 3 smoke breaks a day) and when I am home I vape away.

The issue I seem to have is the PG juice I got just burns my throat alot of the time. I can stand it, but dont care too much for it. Every so often it feels like my throat is on fire and I try to hold my throat closed for a few seconds and it 'seems' to go away.

My main issue now is that I just tried VG the other day. I have not read anything about the stool issue and as I wrote that, I thought it was only me. I was wondering what you had heard or if anyone else has any info on it, could you please pass it along or let me know what you had heard. It just seems to be appearing in my stool, and I am kinda worried and wondering if I should stop the VG. That would suck though because the VG is less harsh on my throat...

It seems to me that tobacco flavors are designed to burn the throat--I guess the majority of analog smokers must like it.

I found a way to cut the tobacco flavored PG. I'm sure it's not a new idea: vanilla. My guess is that non-flavored juice would also work. I was able to make my tobacco juice tolerable mixing in just 10% vanilla.
