Clean all of the tanks you don't like and PUT THEM AWAY. If you progress from eGos, you'll have to try those tanks again on another type of PV. Some tanks work well with eGos, and some work better with mechs, mods, PAVs, and I don't know all of the different variations LOL I just know that I have been where you are at now and I PIFd or traded so many things because they just didn't work properly with the PV I was using at the time. I've since learned differently, after BUYING some things again LOL
I haven't tried that many cartos. When I first started, I found Phil Busardo's reviews irresistible. He loved his boges, so I figured I'd give them a try and did and loved them. I have tried the smoktech's, and personally prefer the boges. It's like I can taste the smok's, whereas I cannot taste the boge's. I have not tried the Ikenvape's yet, primarily as their website has been down about a month and they are sold out all the time (a good sign). Clouds of Vapor has them for $25.0 each, but since I buy cartos from Surevapes (5x5) as something less than $1.00 a piece, I'm in no hurry to try them. And at 2.5x the cost of boges, they would have to be significantly better to make that jump. Now, from people I trust like Bad and others, they "are" that good. Based on that alone, I'm going to try them, but Ikenvape's going to have to make it easier for me to buy than they are now. The Ikenvapes carto-using guys must be losing their minds about now! I have followed the many setbacks and travesty's that Isaac has seen recently surrounding Ikenvapes and life, and I include him in my prayers. What a story.
So, carto wise, I use Boges, and I'm very happy with them. There was a bad batch back in February that hurt their sales and reputation, but seems to be behind them now. There are many others with much more experience with cartos than I have, like Bad, and their recommendations have always seemed very good to me.
Good to know. This is what I have found recommended by others as well and I actually ordered some Boges yesterday.

I keed. Everyone here knows I love Ikenvape. I use Smoktech as my backup carto. Never cared for Boges, but that's just personal taste. I hope you enjoy your Boges. Good luck.
For me, if you like the ProTank.........then you'll love the ProTank2. Slightly tigher draw (re not as "airy") and have not noticed the whistling affect on these. Additionally, you can have your own drip tip and it can be fully torn apart and individual pieces replaced (bottom cap, coil, tank, etc). Oh...and MUCH easier to clean since it can be broken down. PT2 is enough for me. I thought about trying a carto-tank and may do so someday, but for now this is working great so I don't see a need to fix what isn't broke.
Right now, I am a fairly seasoned noob so I'm testing. In the mail, I have a Protank coming as well as some carto-tanks so I can try out the different delivery systems. I started with a simple V2 batt and cart and loved it. Now in addition to the Protank and carto-tanks.......I have a Provari on its way! I am so freaking excited.

Just my two cents from a newb. I ditched the stinkies in May after 30+ years of a pack-of-day habit. I started with some cheap cig look-a-likes my hubs bought at a mall kiosk. JUNK. They required proprietary thingies to get the vapor which tasted like kaka. I tried adding juice to keep them going, but when the batteries stopped holding a charge, I came here for help in choosing a replacement.
I paid close attention to advice from folks like Baditude, and after TONS of research and soul searching, I got a ProVari mini and a ProTank. LOVE my ProVari, but haven't loved the PT. Too much fiddling before I get a vape, e.g. slight twist to the connector on the mod, slight twist to get more air. I couldn't vape while on a phone call without fiddling!! Also, I prefer 100% VG juice, so the juice would burn before I hit the halfway point, since my freakin' arthritic hands can't get the head apart to pull out a wick. Just too much of a headache for me.
So, I'm now using a DCT with Boge XL LR, pre-punched 1-hole. This is a completely different experience!! Even my dark choco juice FINALLY tastes good, as opposed to always tasting like metal in my PT. I have an IBTanked coming, again based on Bad's recommendation. I'll also order some Smoktech cartos for comparison. Vape mail, hurry up!!

I appreciate all the advice I've received from everyone but for me, Bill's Magic Vapor AND Baditude really seemed to help. Thanks guys! You are my vaping mentors.
With me, more fruity flavors are muted with a carto tank. Overall I like EVODs and Protanks the best.
