I have been meaning to post this, I vaped a 0 nic mix the other day and had 0 issues. I'm at 18mg btw. It made me wonder if nic is as addictive as we think it is. Did we get this mindset when "we" were fighting big tobacco? I know for a fact I was seriously addicted to cigs... vape, not so much. I think you'll be fine, let us know how it goes.
I may be wrong about the nic, but I think the pull it has (on me at least) it way less than cigs.

A high percentage of people who move to zero nicotine find it far easier than expected.
In fact, many of them experience absolutely no issues.

If your experience is that you find you are not nearly as addicted to nicotine as you thought, you're almost certainly right.
And I am starting to think those that find themselves still very addicted are the exception rather than the rule.

I haven't tried to quit vaping, and I actually don't want to at this point. But. I have noticed that if I forget my pv at home or some duty or outing requires I be vape-free, I can easily go hours and hours without even thinking about it. I mean, eight to twelve hours. I know that most of my attachment to vaping has more to do with the psychological addiction and less to do with nicotine. I just enjoy the ritual of it all.

i actually tried it on a whim.
i forgot to bring my vape to work and made it through okay. at night was a different story, i was restless and my mind was racing but i couldnt figure out why. i tugged one off and eventually got to sleep. the next night i had the same problem and i finally realized that i was going through nicotine withdrawal. i took a few puffs and went back to bed. i havent tried since but after im done with my current supply, ill try again.

Yep. At least for me I don't think it's that big of an addiction.
I didn't have any withdrawal symptoms cutting down. I cut down from 11mg to 5.5mg, I vaped more for a short while. I started mixing in 0mg most of the day (mornings are rough for me). It didn't take too long before I stopped thinking 0mg felt like nothing. If it wasn't for the high stress the physical ramifications of no nicotine caused with me I'm sure I could've been to 0mg without a problem.
My first time in '09 I was at 0mg in a month.

On paper the nicotine addiction should be over in something like 3 days and it's halflife is something like 3 hours.

Cigarettes on the other hand, that's a whole different story. I spent a month chain smoking heavy duty pipe tobacco spinning from OD still wanting a cigarette.

Made it down to 0% and kept diluting my juice slowly and slightly till I just no longer reached for it. Then a few life dramas and I was back to the dry burn crap..

I did stay completely off the vape for over 6 months. Didn't start back due to urge, rather rage sadly. A man who served under me for 12 yrs, went where we were told to go, spent time in places we weren't and pretty much refused to stumble. In our last cz, he was hit with shrapnel from forgotten ordinance and spent the last several years on dialysis and hardly able to stand. If I'm honest, I suppose the part that really hit me in his regard is that he was the only one of us surviving other than myself. Followed 2 months later by my youngest attempting suicide shortly after her Daughter's 1st birthday.

Sorry for the book, but said all that to say this. There was no urge, just stupidity that led me into a tobacco shop after over 2yrs off smoke and over 6months off vape.
