Hey there,

I wanted to start a conversation for anyone who owns a QP Designs product. This is a small Canadian company that is, IMO, making some very good products.

I owned the Juggerknot that I purchased at a local vape shop and found that to be an excellent RTA. When I heard they had released a mini single coil version I ordered one from the company right away. Single coil designs are my go to at work since they use less battery than a dual set up. I've always struggled to find my perfect single coil rta, I say "my" because this is all subjective.

I can honestly say that this rta everything I've wanted and more. If wicked properly - I keep the fluffed cotton just sitting in the juice chamber above the screws - the flavor I get is incredible. My first 2 builds were at 2.5 id and I was happy with everything, then I tried 3.0 mm and it got even better. The top air flow does exactly what it was designed to do and you don't have to worry about leakage on your mod.

The postless deck is very easy to build on, so this is perfect for the beginner to building or even the most experienced builders simply chasing flavor. It's a 24mm rta that also comes with a bubble glass for those who want more capacity. I've stuck with the standard glass and get a couple of hours of hard vaping simply because I don't use huge coils and again, it's a single.

The build quality and machining are also worth mentioning here because everything from the threading to the deck has been top notch.

I wasn't intending to do a review of this here, but I guess it turned into one. I wanted to share my experience with this company and more specifically their latest product in case anyone out there was considering it.

Keep on vaping everyone!

How's the af? Sounds like it might be geared towards dtl?

It's all about the airflow with this design.
  • Triple channeled airflow to coils
  • Airflow to coils (side,under,top)
I've tried some other top flow airflow and didn't get the desired effect. It's not restricted on the mini and yes, I use it as dtl

I liked the looks of the juggernaut rta when I seen it. I only use single coil RTAs so the design appealed to me. I just can’t justify the price tag when I have several RTAs the work great for 1/3 the price. Anyway I’d like to know about the airflow as well. How’s it when closed down and when wide open? Can you compare it to any other rta so we can get an idea?

It's very smooth. I have a Digiflavor Themis and the Engine, it's comparable to both for top airflow tanks.

When the original juggernaut came out it was well regarded for function but looked less than sleek and quite expensive compared to what else was out. I'm glad they stuck with it and offer a single coil solution. It does seem less aesthetically different thanks to other top air designs, but does remain more expensive for a top air RTA in today's market. I only know them gy reputation but do know they seem to have excellent build quality to go along with good performance, so it comes down to an individual decision given the added cost. It is nice seeing a smaller company producing solid designs.

Well, if that's the case, my first thought was that the set up looked off to me with such a small mod, but didn't want to insult you if it was yours :)

But you've gotta admit, it's not exactly a sleek sexy design. Whether you say it's function over form or not, it still isn't the prettiest tank out there. I just don't hold anything against it for that (although I'm not sure I'd be seen in public vaping on it ;)).

I'll give you that when the bubble glass is installed. I don't use the bubble for that reason, I don't like how it looks. With the standard glass I think it looks good, especially with that custom drip tip. For me though it's all about the performance.
