i've been vaping it at 3.7v all night without any dry hits

The first one that is in the original tank that was included is amazing. I am on like refill #5 and its insane. So I'm thinking I may of got a "funny" atty. Also it took a lot of force to get it past the o ring on the bottom of the carto tank. I dont think this had any effect tho. I believe everything is inside the tube wall. Nothing protrudes that would of been damaged by a tight install.

I did not check the res of the atty b4 I installed it. I may do that. As I type this it's dawning on marblehead that maybe 4.2 v is too much if this happens to be a low res atty, carto, thinga-ma-bob.

There is so much more that affects any atty's performance than just Ohm's Law. These are generally running 2.5-2.8 ohms, but that does not mean that they run just like any other 2.5ohm atty.

If you can, always start new attys and cartos at low voltage and slowly increase the volts over time to break in the coil.

YES!! In fact the ravens are awesome. Almost as awesome as gotvapes shipping ordered on Thursday didn't expect package till Monday or Tuesday. Shhhooooot in my mail box by noon on Saturday!
Ok so back to ravens this thing is churning vapor. Started vaping at 3.7 great. At 4 great. Currently at 5.0 still working pretty darn good. Seems very durable I've dropped it about 4 times on tile not a scratch, ding, or dent. Its only leaked once but my falt. I got juice down center post. It Is a little airy but its all I've been using since Saturday so im getting used to it. Probably all I'm gonna use 4 awhile, down side is all my other setups r gonna seem to tight. If I ever go back to them:) my only complaint is I'm going thru liquid like crazy. Its just so good I can't stop :) speaking of juice. When is gotvapes gonna bring back menthol maina??? Should would like to pick some up and try it. Not saying it should be alpha. Just bring it back:)
Ok that's all I got now will follow up later. So far GREAT product! Thx gotvapes

Hey Chris (can I call you Chris? heh) how 'bout the larger Raven tanks? Seems like I saw them up for a few hours on the site a few days ago but I was tapped out and couldn't purchase. My vape funds are all used up, thanks to the great products you guys are bringing us!

Hoping for replacement heads for the MegaTwix too; one of mine has a short! Shame too, I was using that thing to mix a strong menthol with some so-so fruit flavors I had sitting around. It was helping tremendously with my cold and allergies! I don't wanna try to endorse a product as a "medical aid" but dang, I'm tellin' ya....Still can't taste anything EXCEPT menthol-flavored stuff. And the MegaTwix was making that much more bearable.

I'm waiting on my sinuses to clear up before I give the Phoenix Raven another go-round. I want to be able to enjoy all that flavor!

Hi. I realize this isn't about the Raven, but I still gotta do my homework for these :) As always, thanks for the opportunity to review these (and thanks for the additional CE9 - another home run value dripping atty in my book).

So, IMHO:

As has been sent countless times, you'll go cross-eyed looking for the flavoring labels for these. A simple 18 inside a red circle also does not count as an appropriate mg-level label in my book.

As "neat" as these needle-top bottles are - and I totally understand there are places they could be very handy - I feel the liquid is simply too viscous for them. Not only does it come out too slowly, it makes me slightly cautious about the top popping off should I get a little frustrated and squeeze too hard. I just don't fully trust them. They may in fact be 100% secure and I'm being 99.9% paranoid - I mean there's only so much surface area you'd be applying pressure to, but I'd still want to experiment to feel better about it (maybe fill one with 0nic pg/vg about as viscous and try squeezing as hard as I could to see if I even could make it pop). The fact remains: I've squeezed hard enough to make me think about what I was doing, and none have 'popped' so far.

The juice itself "works" well enough. The flavor presentation/level for the three is very good - not too strong nor weak, the performance is also good in terms of vapor and TH. I personally feel the nic is a bit on the peppery/irritating side. My typical nic level hovers around 20mg and I don't feel they are too strong at this level (but yes, a bit peppery). They seem generally satisfying and a little through the nose seems good too.

Flavors themselves are subjective but I don't care for the chocolate (too much alcohol still...Chocolate Liqueur anyone?) and the other two are "OK". I'd say the USA is a little better than the State.

So - overall good, but peppery, labeling/bottle issues, and nothing outstanding about any flavor (granted I've only had three). If I had to make a call myself based on just these, I would not carry them: I just don't feel there's any particularly compelling reason to do so. About the only place I could see for them is as a possible candidate for a value line to carry below the FLuX Nectar.

I appreciate the review. I was wondering about those myself, but the nic level is too high. As a non-smoker, I can only handle up to 6mg before I start getting headaches and feeling nauseous.

That's right, I'm a nic-whimp!
(that said, ZERO nic stuff seems to lack flavor, so I always just get the smallest percentage available that is greater than zero)

Are you getting pure VG stuff?

if you're a non smoker why would you even go for nic if it makes you feel ill? ..why not go for liquids with extra flavor shots.. or let what you have steep longer

I'm not too particular about PG/VG ratios. And many of the e-liquid vendors don't offer extra flavor shots. When they DO, I often get a sample size of zero-nic and low/ultra low nic. 9 times out of 10, the one with even just a teeensy amount of nicotine seems to taste a bit better. The nicotine being there doesn't bother me unless the percentage is above 6-8. I can chain-vape that stuff and not feel a thing. But I've had a few freebies that were 12 or 18mg and after two drags, my head starts spinnin'....

The ratio can affect flavor though, more VG on zero or low nic stuff has been working better for the few people I have gotten switched over. Either they just want the action of smoking or just enough nic to keep them from grabbing an analog. You should try getting a flavor with zero nic and one with 6mg and do the zero with pure VG and see if you notice a difference. It will be different for everyone of course, but what you are vaping with equipment wise will also make a difference.
