So I'm still relatively new to serious vaping. I had a cheap pv and bought a bunch of bottles of ejuice from different gas stations. A few days ago I bought my first good setup and figured the ejuice I still had would suffice. Boy was I wrong!! They tasted chemically and just nasty. Needless to say I went back to my local b&m shop and bought three bottles of juice (they had a taste bar too which was awesome). Just my 2 cents from a newbie to other people just starting their vaping journey!

For me, I thought paying $15 or so for a bottle was absolutely crazy. I was buying cheap local juices or juices from Mt. Baker Vapor. Then I bought some higher end juices and my world changed. Switched to 100% VG and my world changed again with vaping. I hate paying that much for juice, but the taste is well worth it.

Now, the juice was probably pretty bad, but you might try taking the cap off of it and storing it somewhere dark for a week or so. We call that steeping. It's been know to turn truly horrible flavors into something anywhere from tolerable to fantastic.
The thing that worries me now is knowing my limited knowledge I have NO idea what was in that juice. No pg/vg ratio on the labels...only nicotine content. The other crazy thing is the price is roughly the same! The bottles I bought were anywhere from $5.99-$10.99. My local b&m has regular flavors for $5.99 for a 10ml bottle and $7.99 for exotic flavors!

I started out with OK juices and slowly started trying various companies (all online orders). Pretty amazing how different they can be in terms of quality. I've pretty much settled on Ahlusion being the absolute best. Yes, a 10ml costs $9, but three weeks after each order, you get a request for feedback (which they take seriously) and a 15% off coupon. You end up with juice custom-tailored (I needed stronger flavors) and they have a very extensive menu. No more wasted money for me!

My local b&m ejuice is great. I'm not opposed to ordering online. I'm just afraid I'll waste a lot of money finding "what I like".
I've done that. Ordered two flavors online, both of them tasted like they just poured air freshener into the bottles. My local shop though, I walk in, they mix my flavor and let me try it before I buy it. If I'm not satisfied they mix up a new one.

I've actually gone the route of trying some of the brand name juices that I purchase, at a higher price, from my local B&M then if I continue to like them I can usually find it online cheaper.
I recently tried several juices from Juice Mafia that I bought locally for about $14 for 15ml, then I was able to get them directly from the Juice Mafia website at $12 for 50 ml bottles.
