.... well, maybe for the benefit of others we can add these two scriptural references for clarity;

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come. -Romans 5:14

because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. -Romans 8:2

Question did Jesus Himself every speak on how to receive Salvation?

Yes he did!

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. -John 14:6

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. -Matthew 28:18-20

I don't see anywhere in those Scriptures how to receive Salvation only you to get to the Father by Jesus.

Teaching them to observe all things to me means I have to do this and still nothing being said about how to get Salvation.

Here Jesus said ASKED of HIM

John Chapter 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

It doesn't get no easier then that ASK of HIM.

Adam was the head representative for all of mankind. When he sinned it was then passed down to all mankind. Jesus is now the head representative of the corporation(church). In Him are we made alive and the sting of sin and death are removed. Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. However, for those out side of Christ they still have the first Adam as their representative.
    Or something like that:blush:

I guess I got my impression with the following message, when Jesus did indicate He and the Father are one.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I and my Father are one
    . -John 10:27-30

... but absolutely! You are correct..... The scripture you quoted was 'spot on' and doesn't get any easier than that!!!!!

Read John 3:1-17. Nicodemus came to Jesus under the cover of nightfall and Jesus flat out tells Nicodemus that he must be born again of the spirit. And, this goes into 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life. AMEIN!!!!!

At the time Nicodemus came to Jesus Salvation wasn't available yet; you only could live by the law and faith. IMO: Jesus was referring to a time to come when the price was going to be paid. Though he was instructing him how to receive it.

IMO John 3:16 talking on the price being paid by the Son of God.

Doesn't mean I'm right but how I understand it for NOW.

Good point, MM. However, there is no Scripture that I am aware of after He rose from the grave. The only Scripture I know is the one that Cuz stated from Matthew 28. He appeared over 500 times before ascending. Unfortunately, there were no news crews covering each siteing. I mean where's Fox News when you need them! However, you asked if Jesus spoke of how to be saved and He told Nicodemus. That's the only words coming directly from Jesus' lips that I am aware of. :)

I got this from Dr. Adrain Rogers - Love Worth Finding - TBN

When God kicked satan and his minions out of Heaven, guess where they decided to reside. When God and Jesus said 'Let Us make man in Our image,' he must have been beautiful and was sinless. As long as Adam remained sinless, he was in charge of the earth...really officially in charge. When God created Eve, I bet she was gorgeous, she too was sinless and a help mate to Adam. satan decided to do what satan does, because he knew if he could get Eve to disobey God, he had a 50/50 chance of Adam falling into sin, too. he knew Eve was the weaker of the two. Well, Eve ate the bite of fruit from the forbidden tree, but if Adam hadn't taken a bite they would have been okay. Why? Because man is head of the household. He would have set her straight and all would have been well.......until satan tried again. When Adam partook of the fruit, mankind fell. satan gained the deed to earth. It was given to him. He was the 1st Adam.

God is a fair God. He is today as He was yesterday. He is not a respecter of persons. The deed of the earth was lost by man. satan grabbed the keys to earth. It had to be won back by Man. It had to be done fairly to all spectators, meaning the angels, satan and his minions, because satan KNEW the earth was his....legally. Now me, I'd have thrown them all in the Lake of Fire from git go. I would have said, 'look....I'm in charge and that's the way it's going to be!' Why do you think Jesus was in the desert for 40 days and nights? He had to fast and pray. He had to defeat satan right there. I would have caved on the bread. Don't you know satan followed Him around trying to cause trouble? Judas....hello! And to this day everyone connects that name with traitor! When Peter told Him that He couldn't go into Jerusalem if they were going to kill Him. Jesus answered, "Peter, satan is speaking through you." Then came the garden. Don't you know satan was trying his best to get Jesus to do just one itty bitty thing wrong. Calvary was won in the garden. Jesus was sweating drops of blood...not just sweat, but blood!! He had already started shedding His blood for us. It wasn't the dying so much, as it was all the sin of mankind which would disconnect Him from the Father, where the Father would have to turn away. satan thought he'd won when Jesus died on the cross. He was thinking he was the victor. God didn't go the way satan was thinking. satan was expecting a toe to toe. Instead, Jesus rose from the grave (Hallelujah!) and took the keys of death and gives all His children power OVER satan. Mankind was lost by the 1st Adam, but the 2nd Adam redeemed us! PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!

P.S. The created cannot be greater than the Creator. WHAT WAS satan THINKING!

Tell you what....I was sweating that post because I wanted it to make sense for God's Glory. Man, I was praying before, during, and sighed when I finished. I did not want to tell Jesus' story and it not be right. When I first learned this some years back, I got sooooo excited and I went over to my mom's and my sister was over there and I told them what I'd learned. They both looked at me and said, "Well yeah." Then they blinked a couple of times. Here I was ready to have church :w00t: and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. But, it wasn't until I typed the sweating drops of blood that the Lord hit me upside the head with the part that He'd already started shedding His blood for us in garden. So, I sat here with my mouth open .....caught a couple of flies.....then went "WOW!" I felt like DeNozo (sp?) in NCIS getting smacked upside the head......if you're not familiar, it's the same thing as, "I could have had a V8!" All the Praise and Glory is the Lords!

That's the way I am all the time. I have an off the wall personality like my daddy. I figured that since the Lord gave me my personality, might as well use it! I can easily see Jesus laughing....alot, even. I can imagine Him playing baseball with the children, telling stories about King David when he was a boy, how big the fish was that swallowed Jonah, how brave Daniel was standing in the lion's den, as he didn't have a formal living room, or maybe a silly clean joke like: If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Give up? PILGRIMS! I warned you....silly joke! OR maybe teach them Pig-Latin, Red Rover, or Mother May I. Can't you see Him doing that?
