Question about a battery vs. a catomizer.

Hello , I purchased a "Battery-eGo-1000-USB eGo-T tank Passthrough USB Battery 1000mA" And have used the Ego Mega carto's from vapingzone.com, and the boge 510 LR carto's from a local shop, wondering which of the two would perform better on my battery, I also have a LR 1.25 Ego batt that I switch between however one of the two batteries burned out my carto's pretty quickly < 1 week. Do you have an Idea which I should use between the carto's I buy, and the batteries I have? Thank you if you have an answer. -Sam​

Also if anyone has a top pick on where to get new carto's, I know of vapingzone, and topvapor.

not sure what you mean by a battery being LR 1.25? batteries are measure in Mah (milliamphours). so yours is 1000mah battery probably a 3.4-3.7volts which most egos are. you can use any lr cartomizer however i wouldnt go lower then 1.5ohms.

You can really use any type of cartomizer you like.

I like the boge 2.0 carto or the smoktek 1.7 single coil. Both of which I got at Crystal Clear Vaping (code ECF5OFF).

You could get a tank mod if you like- they have them many places, something like this-

LR Chibi Tank Mod (smoktech 1.7ohm)

The 1.25 is a little low for your ego battery, plus really hot. You'll get a great vape with boge or smoktek cartos with your battery.

Hello slansing1991 and welcome to ECF. The Boge 2.0ohm cartomizer would be a good match for your PT. Cartos are designed to be disposable. A week would actually be much longer than I generally use a cartomizer which is approx. 2 - 3 days then in the trash it goes.

Thank you all so very much, so it sounds like a 2.0ohm carto would be my best bet. The boge's I have seem a bit small for my taste, but I suppose I can get used to it. I would use a tank though I have no idea which would be right for me. I assume you just toss it on, and put a carto in, then switch the carto when it tastes burned. And fill the tank when it gets low. One more question a bit off topic, if you don't mind. I have heard about "steeping" and I know it means you let the juice sit before using it, I assume this means with the cap off? Sort of like letting your wine "Breeth" or a teabag steep.

I believe it is, You can check the supplier you bought it from, sometimes they're nice enuf to inform you of what you bought.

Did you get that LREgo battery at Gotvapes or Madvapes? Was wondering what they were all about.

I use them on ego batteries all the time with no issues at all. They hold double what a boge does.

I just throw my juice in a box for about a week or two- that's how I steep mine. I don't take the lid off.

Okay thank you for your steeping tips, that rose a few questions. As for the batt, I got it from Madvapes.com It seems to perform very well, The battery actually says LR 1.25 on it. It seems to bring me more vapor than my EgoT. But uses up my current carto's faster than my EgoT. I just need to find the right carto, so I ordered those 1.7's just now.
