Question about a RBA

Alright, so I have a Tugboat V1 which I love.
But when I bought my new Buffalo by MOJO 1:1 Clone, I also bought
a Plume Veil v1.5 rba Clone by Acerig

Now the problem, The 510 Male on the rba is really short, the problem being the 510 female on the mod doesn't make a connection.
Is it just beat out of fitting on the Mod, or can I do something to make it work?

If the center pin on your mod is not adjustable, you can try using something like this:
Circuit Board Spacer

Those little circuit board spacers are just the right size to drop down into a 510 connector and since the outer bit is non-conductive there's no chance of shorting the connector out. There are other fixes out there, I'm sure, I just happened to have that one handy

On some mods, you can (gently) pry up the center pin a little, and on some attys, you ca (again, gently) pry down their center pin. Just be careful to check and ensure that the center pin doesn't goo to the side and short to the outside metal.

Hey again all,

So i figured I would take a picture of the 510 on the Atty.

Now to me, it almost looks like I could maybe unscrew the 510 connection a little, make it longer? or does that screw just spin the positive post?

I think on the Plume you would be loosening your center block also.....So you need something non conductive to take up some space....like a drip tip oring......


Pull the center pin out and away, put the oring in and tighten it back up.

I'll have to try that out, if that doesn't work.. i will do what DreamWithin said and buy a circuit spacer.

All it is doing is spinning the positive post, not coming out. So guess I will need a circuit spacer.
