I've been through the forums looking for a list or something that tells what all the different abbreviations are for. I've been vaping full time for six months, but just started coming to the forum recently. I hear people talking about different setups and hardware and can usually figure out the general idea of what they're talking about. If not I got to Wiki or somewhere else to look it up, but that gets time consuming and I don't always find an answer. It would be nice to have a list somewhere inside the forum, listed alphabetically so us noobs can figure out what the veterans are talking about. I'm an old geezer who hates to .... into a conversation to ask, "What's mod or what's a rda." You know, stuff like that. I'm not shy about anything, I just don't want to be rude. But, I'm sure there's lots of newbies that want to ask, but are afraid of getting a snide remark, like we've all been subjected to at one time or another. I've already received one since I started posting here and it wasn't appreciated, nor warranted. So, is there such a list or would someone with the knowledge be willing to make one?

Wow, that's a lot of help! Too bad none of it is somewhere inside the forum. But, it's a great help nonetheless. Now, how do we get this information to the newbies just coming into the forum. I know this thread will diminish until it's in the archives or just gone. That still doesn't help the noobs who come in later. Anyone got any suggestions? Maybe a link or something in a sticky?

In the New Members Forum near the top of the page you will see Sub Forums, New Members Information, there is a list there, (though it could use some updating) and a ton of great information on all kinds of topics on e-cigs and the forum. It's surprisingly easy to miss. Here's a direct link.

Oh, and never feel it's rude to ask a question, that's what this place is all about, answering those questions and getting information.

There are snarky responses in a lot of threads. With over 200,000 members here, it's going to happen. Feel free to ignore them. :)

Here's another like I think you might like, CASAA.

Try not to get information overload. ;)

Being retired I have lots of time on my hands and I'm loving this internet thing. I may not know everything there is to know about vaping, but I can learn. Anything else I don't know I'll just wing it or "dazzle 'em with brilliance!!" Thanks guy, you've been a big help, along with the ladies above. :D
