I think this question has a lot of variables...

1) would depend on how many drops you use when your refill
2) how much you vape (chain vaper or few puffs an hour)

basically you will no when a cart is done by 2 things when the burnt taste is there no matter if its full....2 vapor production lessons to a point you need a fresh addy.... I think these things would depend on the above....

I personally get tired of dripping sometimes so I am not a regular dripper....hopefully some who do can chime in on a average length of usage....however this thread should be helpful...on the max amount possible: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...negative-result-still-result.html#post2487543
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelllo!

I was wondering how many times you guys can re-fill
a pre-filled carto AND a blank carto before you feel like
it's gotten it's full use or starts tasting like crap? :)

Thanks!

I say fill it a nominal 10 times. Just my opinion but if you disassemble a carto and unravel the contents, you will an aggregate discoloration after about 10 refills. You may or may not taste any difference depending on the juice used, but I discard them to be safe. Scientific data is needed to analyze all aspects of vaping, as we all know; we are taking the chance, all of us, that vaping isn't chronically inherently dangerous. Until we know much much more, some discretion seems logical and warranted...

I bought a box of 5 the week Maxx Fusion made its debut. I have 4 of the 5 left and they have all been filled over 18 times. I have no discoloration or loss of vapor at this point. I intend to see what the max life is on this first batch. I will say I am very careful not to run them dry. This can kill a new carto on the first fill.

The one that did die must have been defective as it just overheated and burned up inside. This was confirmed with a carto autopsy. It did survive approx 4 refills prior to its death.

I try any and every product that hits the market and I can honestly say these are one of the most durable and best vaping cartos I have used for KR808. Now if Leaford would just make some in Mega size!

Thanks guys for all the great responses.
Exactly what I needed to hear to convince me to order a kit.

Doesn't seem logical to vape and toss a carto at $2 a pop,
but I'm glad it can be refilled, I'll probably do what jayavp does
and toss them at around the 10 mark.

Also, am I crazy, or is that cool slider PCC only available for the MINI battery/kit?

Any idea of how soon? I ask because I'd rather wait to order if we're talking mid-February or something, but if it's going to be summer before you have them, I'll order what you have now.

Sorry, not by mid Feb. After a couple unacceptable attempts at making an adjustable unit, we had to settle for a seperate unit for 78mms. It was sent out for prototype molds, and we should have a prototype after the chinese new years holiday, which lasts the next two weeks. Fortunatly, the testing stage should be short, since nothing but the charging slot is being changed, but it still won't be ready for mass production until March at the earliest.

If I may sugest something, you should really look at a way to store 2 extra cartomizers in the PCC also.
Just my 2c...

I really, really wish there was more space that could be given over to more storage, but there just isn't. That's the trade off for the slim lightweight form factor. But the extra battery slot can be used for cartos instead, and frankly a traditional PCC doesn't have any more storage space than the Mini PCC anyway.

I posted this same question elsewhere but this seems like the better place...
Here comes a rookie question: I see people saying they had trouble with them tasting burnt. When I put the Maxx Fusion carto onto my auto Vapor King, it tastes/smells burnt immediately. I take it off and put back onto my Bloog, and the angels sing. I was under the impression that these cartos could be used on a KR808, and while it fits on there fine, it doesn't seem compatible. (here comes the rookie part) I know nothing about volts and amps and resistance, etc. Is the VK too hot/strong or whatever for the MF cartos? Are they meant to only be used on a Bloog?

i find when i take a carto i have been using and put it on a fresh off the charger batt... i get a burnt taste for a few puffs...then as the batt wears in it goes away...may this is the case with your v4l?? was it right off the charger?if so i suggest a fresh carto on a fresh bat or a few extra drips of juice before you put a used cart on a fresh batt ....or maybe you have an exception batt....that just might have higher voltage?? just inconsistant?
No, there's no voltage difference between V4L batts and MaxxFusion. And I have absolutely no explanation for a burnt taste that immediatly dissapears when you change batts. Anyine else have any idea?

I think that must be it... I tried again putting it on the V4L after I've been using it for awhile, and no burning. So fully charged it too hot for it, but after it 'calms down' then it seems OK. Thanks :)
