where can i get a syringe with a single needle, i need something to fill cartos/my ghetto rigged tank with, i would rather not have to order one, and pay shipping just cause i need a syringe and needle.

hmm, at tractor supply where we got the syringes for the tank they didnt carry needles, really the only place around here we have like that.
Many pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid) carry them behind the counter. Just explain what you need them for and ask for the largest needle.
I have extras that came with my 3 ml stringes, i believe they are 22 gauge. If you would like them pm and I'll send em to you free of charge, my pif.
I get as many as I want from Wal-Mart Pharm. Just let them know the gauge needle and syringe capacity.
That may vary from state to state. I know I get them at TSC here.
I asked the pharmacist at a Target store in Texas and he stated that while there were no restrictions on the sale of needles and syringes in the state, it was still up to the pharmacists best judgment to sell them to an individual or not. He offered to give me some for free when I showed him my e-cig and explained what I would be using them for. He only had regular 22g needles and I was looking for 18g blunt tip so I declined the offer.
