question about cartridges

Recent convert after many years on analogs. Just got a Joye eGo-T tank (type A). I am having a little trouble with the eGo-T cartridges and destroyed two of the five that came with my starter kit. Are there any other kind of cartridges that will fit my eGo T and can be used more than two times? Really appreciate the impute....

The eGo-T battery is one of the most versatile ones out there, so YES...you can use many things on it including cartomizers, or regular 510 atomizers and cartridges (different from the T cartridges,) with the battery. But the tanks you have are meant to be used over and over. Maybe we can pin-point the problem....what's it doing?

thanks for responding. the batt is just fine and so is the atty...problem I have is with the cartridges...have a devil of time opening them up to fill. My experience is that I can use the cartridge once or twice and can not get the cap to come off without destroying the cartridge....so looking for a cartridge that will go with my device that will last a little longer.

I used a needle tip bottle or a syringe to fill those. Worked great.

On the T-tanks like you have, I learned that taking that cap off was #1 a PITA, and #2, not really necessary. If you can refill the tank without removing the lid, you're better off. If you have a syringe or a needle-tipped bottle of some kind, try that. After you punch the hole, then just drip right down into the tank instead of removing the lid to refill. That will save the last three tanks you have...at least until you can get something else. The only thing that will work with the atomizer you have will be those tanks, so until you get a different atomizer/cartridge system, you need to figure out how to use those. I think popping the cap off of the tank weakens it, and causes it to leak.

I have syringes and needle-nosed bottles, but if you don't....here's a suggestion. Take a regular bottle with a dripper tip and either file it down with sandpaper, or "whittle" it down with a pocket knife so that the tip will fit into the little hole in the tank. Then never pop the top off of the tanks....

Also, they make softreplacement caps for the Type-A tanks. I know that Joye eGo | Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarette supplies Tulsa | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more! in Tulsa, OK has them. They are MUCH easier to remove and put back on....that's an idea. They're really cheap....like 5 for $2.00 or something...maybe cheaper than that, even. They work really well....much, much easier to manipulate. If you like the tank set-up and want to stay with it, that's a good solution, too.

If you want to try other things with your battery, order some 510 BOGE cartomizers from Vapor Kings or somewhere else. Or...a regular 510 atomizer with regular cartridges will work with your battery.

Anything that is 510 (refers to the threading) will fit with your battery. I used an eGo-T for a long time....I really liked it with a 2.0 ohm BOGE cartomizer. And I also used the regular 510 atomizers and carts alot, although the cartridges for the regular 510 atty only hold about 12 drops at a time and many people think that's a real PITA....especially if you get used to the tanks. Keep in mind, the tank atomizer you have can only be used with the tanks, so you'll have to change to a whole 'nother atty/cart system, or cartomizers. I liked both of those better than the tanks, to tell you the truth. I think the tank attys are not as good (personal opinion) as regular attys. I really, really like the BOGE 2.0 ohm cartomizers with the eGo-T battery; that was about my favorite set-up on the eGo battery. If you order from Vapor Kings in Tulsa, they will have them to you in about 2 days.

We call what you were using "tanks". Tanks are the only thing you can use on tank atomizers. And if by destroy you mean a probably with a little door in the tank, some place sells replacement tank doors that are better.

You can also use the following non-T stuff

510 atomizer + 510 cartridges or 510 drip tip

Ego atomizer + Ego cartridges(?) or EGo drip tip

Cartomizers (what most use for their favorite juices) I recommend you first try the most popular ones - Boge. Boge 510 3 ohm are barely warm and easier to learn on, Boge 2 ohm are hotter and give a better hit. I can get 10 days use out of a Boge by using thin clear juices and keeping it damp.

I've tried a lot of different cartridges, tanks (including the ego-T), and cartomizers, and am most satisfied with cartomizers. I agree that the Boge 2.0 cartos are really nice, but what I've settled on as my favorite is the Crystal Clear Vaping 'Resurrectors' - 15 cartos for $20 (comes with a free drip tip).

I've been useing the soft caps on my tanks. They work quite well. They are harder to get on than off, if anything. Having a drip atty laying around is never a bad idea though. They are always a good alternative to have laying around.
