Question about Cognac

I never liked to drink cognac so I do not know much about it. I received a sample of it and LOOOOOVE it. But here is my question...does real cognac taste like grapes? This juice tastes like grape bubble gum to me. which is yummy

I did quick research and saw cognac is made from grapes. So for those of you who drink Cognac and tried the V4L juice, are they similar?

I'm not sure about that, but I can relate. I'm not a drinker, at all. Haven't been for a loooooong time!!! But the Strawberry Champagne I'm vaping is great!!! Really surprised me that I would like the flavor, cause it really does have an alcohol like taste to it, and the alcohol taste is what I dislike about drinking.

Haha, I disliked the hangovers most.

I quit drinking last year and with my first order I got a Margarita sample, I let my BF have that without even tasting it. I ended up trying it later and really liking it. I got a cognac sample on my 2nd order and like that too. I may just have to give up on the fruits and vape the hard liquor flavors

WOW.....I just noticed you are from Fairfax,VA. I once "dated" a girl from there. She went to college at the school next door to my hometown. Elon College ( Now Elon University) is like not even 2 miles from my Childhood/Tweenage home.

Me and a friend tried to drive there, I was like 17 at the time. His car blew a rod and left us stranded just outside of Charlottesville. We hitched a ride on the back of a tree trimmers truck (actually snuck on it while he was paying for his gas) and tapped on the window for him to drop us out. We had to walk another 27 miles to get to a payphone.....

Damn.....I sure do miss not having any common sense!!!!

Cognac is one of my fave liquors and no, it does not taste like grapes or wine, despite its being derived from grapes. If you've ever had brandy, that is the most similar type of liquor to cognac. Haven't tried a cognac or brandy vape, but I'd like to. Hope it doesn't taste like grapes, though.

Just tried Cognac for the first time today......I am a B & B girl, as in Benedictine and Brandy, and that is what Cognac tastes like to me, yum!

Technically yes, but there are subtle differences in cognac and brandy. It's similar to the difference between champagne, which only comes from the Champagne region of France, and other sparkling wines. There is a difference in taste (to me anyway). Cognac only comes from the Cognac region in France. If you are a conossieur, you can easily tell a difference between Courvoisier cognac (sweeter and with more body) and a Remy Martin or Hennesy brandy, which are definitely stronger-tasting and less sweet.
