Question about coils

I am looking to get the kanger protank 3 and was just wondering (and it might be a stupid question but i AM in the newbie thread) are the coils for the kanger evod the same as the coils for the kanger protank 3? I was also looking at the kanger aerotank, anyone know a bit about it?

No, the protank 3 uses the newer dual coil heads. Evods use the old single coil type. Perhaps with some modification and spare parts they could be crossed but might be a stretch for a noob. But generally speaking, protank 3 takes specific heads, and evods and protanks 1 and 2 take the same single coil design, i believe.

AeroTank and ProTank 3 use the same coils. ProTank 1, ProTank 2, and EVOD use the same coils. I would not recommend the AeroTank or the ProTank 3. The coils are expensive, always sold out, and have a bad reputation for gurgling and leaking. Go with something you can actually get replacement coils for at a decent price. Here is a good shop to get tanks, coils, and killer juice all in one place at a good price.

Bottom coils seem to get good reviews. I use them, simple to change out. I'm not really interested in RBAs.

you can use PT2 coils in PT3 but not vise versa
