I'm sure this has been asked before, but after searching the forum I didn't find what I was looking for.

What is the difference in general between the flavor brands (Capella, TFA, etc.)? I realize one flavor from company A may taste a lot different from the same flavor that company B offers. What I am wondering is why do some brands cost quite a bit more? Is it because the concentration of flavoring is higher and therefore goes further?

For example: At RTS 10 ml of TFA's Cheesecake is $2.75 & 10 ml of Capella's Cheesecake is $4.80. I have used Capella flavorings almost exclusively since I started making my own. I was thinking of giving TFA a shot since I read good things about them on the forum, and because of the obvious price difference. Can anyone who has used both chime in on this? Thanks!

I understand how capitalism works. What I was wondering is if there is a difference concentration wise that warrants one to cost more than the other. Have you yourself actually used both Squee?

And unfortunately your examples don't help. One is 8 ml and one is 13 ml. Obviously 13 ml would cost more than 8 ml, as you are getting more product. And when it comes to the Coke & RC example, Coke doesn't cost almost twice as much as RC.
