Hi everyone...I pretty much already know this is going to be a dumb question, but I've just got to ask to make sure i get things right. I've seen several people saying that when cleaning out clears (such as the Stardust or the Phoenix), after rinsing they will "dry burn" before they use it and it works great. I want to make sure I fully understand the dry burn concept. Is this basically attaching to your battery and pressing the button (as if you were going to take a puff, but not doing so in this case) while its empty? And then filling with juice afterward?

I feel so silly asking...but I really don't want to screw something up. Thanks in advance!

You have the basics, but DANGER WILL ROBINSON!
When you dry burn, you can, if not careful, break the coil. I always dry burn slightly moist, running the coil under hot water then shaking all excess out. You don't want to press that button long or the coil will overheat & break. Game over. I use the pattern of only 3 seconds on, then at least 5 seconds off. If I get smoke, I rinse & shake again.
The whole problem is not stressing the coil to the snapping point. Fast temperature changes can do that. Be careful & you'll do fine!
