I have decided to purchase an e-cig. After lots of research I am going to get the Titan 510.

What is the best liquid closest to analog cigs taste wise?

My goal here is to get of analogs and replace with e-cig so I feel if I start with a liquid as close to analogs it would be best.

Also trying to decide what nic mg liquid to start off with. I currently smoke 2 packs Marlboro Med 100's a day now. From what I have read you vape more than you would normally smoke. I want to be satisfied but dont want to over dose on nic.

Thanks for your help

I'd just say, going only by my own experience, calculate your approximate current nic maximum by multiplying the nic per cigarette printed on yr analog pack by 40.
(Prolly you don't get all of that anyway.)

Then have more than one strength of nic to use in a day. Spikes of High when needed and Low/Zero for simple puffing when nic is less needed.

My early mistake was to rate myself as a heavy smoker and go for vaping V High all day - I vape so often that in fact I am better with Low all day and a few spikes of 18 or 24.

As for taste, there are Marlbro type e-liquids, but you may be surprised about the fun in trying out other tastes.

Good luck, and happy vaping! :)

tjat is good advice,

as a previous smoker of 40 med strength nic cigs per day
for over 35years

I started vaping with 2 cigs at a time,
one with 8mg and the other with 16-18mg

the heavy one for breakfast and start my day,
the lighter one for all day vaping,
if I felt a bit nicneedy, a couple of draws on the heavy
and then back to light again.

after nearly 6 months,
I am down to 4mg in the lighter one
and 11- 12 mg in the heavy one
I just alternate as I feel the need,

I am very happy with vaping,
I will never smoke tobacco again.

Thank you for your responces. I probably would have bought the 36mg but now know it probably way to high

Check out the following forum

DIY e-liquid - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

if you are going to mix your own based on cutting 36mg flavourless or flavoured and add flavourings.

If not, best to get 2 or 3 different strengths from a good liquid supplier.
Check out the supplier forums to get some ideas.

Best,

The choice of juice is very subjective, so what one likes the next won't.

I smoked Kent and Marlboro Lights. I tried 5 different tobacco flavors and didn't care for any of them, mostly because they seemed too harsh in flavor or had a very particular flavor that didn't do much for me.

I finally found one flavor that, at least for me, came the closes to what I had smoked. That is www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd, KENT flavor. It has a smooth tobacco flavor that is not too harsh. Plus he is having a sale right now. Buy his 100ml and he throws in 40ml extra (140ml total) of your choosing for $50.

On the nic strength, you can't make it stronger but you can make it less strong by cutting it with USP Glycerin (VG) that you can get at the drug store for about $6. I use 24mg and 18mg. I first tried 16mg and 11mg and found they were not strong enough.

Good luck.

Good luck with your venture into the world of vaping. I do not believe vaping is anything like smoking a tobacco cigarette. In fact, I think that personal vaporizers probably provide no more than 40% of the analog experience, are unreliable, finnicky as hell for new users...but I was able to quit a 30+ year habit in a matter of days.

Pick a high nicotine content juice initially as wv2win recommends. You can always reduce the strength (which also will dilute the flavor, though). Trust your body to tell you if you are overdoing it.

I agree. I smoked Winston's which are pretty strong analogs and the 12/16/18 strengths just didn't do it for me at first. I had to maxpuff 36 just to get a tiny nicbuzz.I'd be sure to get a little of the higher strength liquid in addition to the lower strengths just to make sure you have what you need.
