Question about ethyl alcohol type

I need the help of those who have a bit of understanding in the area of chemicals. We don't have high proof drinking alcohol available to us here however we do have a great chemical supply company who offers denatured ethyl alcohol "B" or Ethanol DEB.

Will this be ok to use for NET extractions?

Nevermind.... found my answer. Apparently Denaturing leaves the product unusable for use in juice or consumption of any kind. I will delete the thread when I figure out how.

yup, denatured isnt the one to use... it has methanol in it... not fit for consumption. Never looked any further into its uses as a solvent for our application, no need to add anything else that could be harmful to the mix...

I'm having a heck of a time trying to find anything suitable here. Booze isn't even available over 80 proof or 40% by volume. Funny because Thailand has quite an export for ethanol. I guess I just have to keep looking.

Yeah.... currently contemplating. Water pipe here is 99.9% PVC and hose. This makes copper very hard to hunt down.... a pressure cooker probably even harder and of course very expensive. I may have to wait and pick up the parts on my next trip to the states. Hobbies aren't always easy in foreign lands.
