Question about filling cartos

Hi, I'm a bit worried I'm doing something wrong with my Boge LR cartos. Just received my KGO a couple of days ago, and everything seemed great. Was using 4 cartos with 4 different flavours (50/50 VG/PG) in rotation. But today, two of my cartos become very difficult to draw on, so I binned them. From what I've read they should last longer than that especially since I've been rotating 4 different ones. Am I over/under filling them or doing something else wrong? After I fill a spare I store it vertically with the threaded (battery end) down. Is this correct? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Some juices clog cartos pretty quickly. I don't remember exactly which juice its was, but it was the most incredible tobacco flavor. The problem was it clogged my cartos up in a day or two so I had to quit using it.
