Question about flavoring/extracts for mixing ejuice

I do have a quick question if anyone has tried this since I can't post in the appropriate section yet.

I read in the DIY e juice section that some people use McCormick extracts to make their juice, and people say do not use any extracts/flavorings with oils, but there are some people who say some of the McCormick extracts that contains oils is ok because they also contain high % of alcohol and that keeps your atomizer from clogging. So I was wondering if McCormick's Pure Mint Extract would be ok to use, the ingredients are: Alcohol 89%, Water, Oil of Spearmint, Oil of Peppermint. ~ Thanks

I have had no problems w/ extract of any type. BTW, most Kroger and other cheap extracts are PG based rather than alcohol based. The only thing I have had a problem w/ are brewers flavorings w/ sugar in them. Sugar+vaping=gunked up nasty dead atty.

Excuse my ignorance LowThudd,:?: but what is a brewers flavoring? Is that a brand name? When I think of a brewers flavor, it makes me think of beermaking. Please and thank you.

It is for beer making. I got it at a local wine, beer and cheese making shop. I've gone there for @15 years since I first started making wine. I got natural Boysenberry flavoring, designed to be added to beer(home made or otherwise) to add flavor. It taste great in my Coke, but not burnt to a crisp on my atty. lol:glare:

I did, however get some Cordial making flavorings that are working OK so far. My favorite so far is the Scotch flavoring, which is great except that it makes me want good scotch. Which I cannot afford ATM. lol

I didn't see any scotch flavoring from this website. Did you get it from them or elsewhere?

Also, I couldn't find an ingredients list for their flavor extracts. When I went to the Contact Us page, it was blank. Is their website under construction, do you think? Please and thank you.

I want some scotch.

lorrannoils.com has pg based candy flavorings. add that to any blah! juice you got (or just buy some food grade pg oil from ebay, about $20 for more than you'll ever use) and presto! nummy juice for dirt cheap! my favorite is ether egg nog or watermelon. (watermelon tastes just like jolly ranchers!!) right now I'm also experimenting with trying to make a cookie dough concoction. I believe they also have scotch, brandy, and even rum flavorings. :)

Just so you know, you can get a gallon of PG/VG for the same price as a quart on ebay I believe. Here: Propylene Glycol USP

And they also have the USP Glycerin. I had already ordered from another source before I found out about Essential Wholesale. They have the best prices for sure. Also, thanks for the other flavors link, LowThudd. Got it added to my growing list. :matrix:

Edit: Oops, now I see that you did mention the VG.
