Question about iClear 16

Well, I bought my first kit and 15ml of juice about 2 weeks ago. I've been using the Kanger Mt3 and the iClear 16 "Clearomizers." In my iClear, I have been filling it with RY4 (Caramel Vanilla) flavor, and I'm just about to run out. Next flavor in there will be grape.

So, my question is, do I need to clean the device before putting in a new flavor? I could easily take apart the tip/head and clean the tank, but do I also clean the head with anything to try and remove the old flavor? Is it safe to clean the head/wick/coil thingy with warm water as well?

In my experience w/ the iClear16 I need to change the coil/head after running 15ml through it, if not I start getting a burned taste and a darkening of the e-liq.

But if you're not going to change heads, I would rinse the wicks/coils as as well....but let them dry overnight or the the wicks won't properly absorb the juice.

Thanks. I've actually only run 5ml RY4 in the iClear and nearly 5ml of "Smooth Tobacco" in the Kanger. About to run out of two of my three flavors and I was just curious as what to do when a flavor runs out. I'll clean it all tonight so I can try grape tomorrow.

I always clean my 16 when I change flavors. just take it apart and run it under hot water or soak over night with darker liquids. let everything dry out and should be good as new. I keep extra heads around so as im soaking one im not out a tank.
