question about kanger t3D

Hi friends, I usually use vivi nova but I wanted to give a bottom coil a try so I bought a kanger tech T3D. It's working really well except it seems to get really hot toward the bottom where the coil is. Is this normal for a bottom coil? Just wanted to make sure it was normal. Other than that it seems to work great! I bought a couple replacement coils and it uses the same coils as protank. Maybe I'm just not used to the bottom coil yet and I'm used to the vivi nova but I wanted to make sure the heat was normal
Sorry for such a new be question but I'm learnin everything right now as I'm on day 25 Of not smoking. Thanks for your help.

Didn't even know there was a t3d until I read your post. I thought it was a typo, seeing how the letters s and d are next to each other on the keyboard.

Yes, it's natural for the base to get warm or even hot if you chain vape. And mine is only the single coil t3s. With t3d dual coils, I imagine it would be hotter.

I have Evod tanks, a Protank 2 Mini, and now I am using the Evod 2 glass (on a Protank 2 Mini base so I can continue to use the same single coils as the other tanks). They do get warm at the bottom if I chain vape.

Thanks so much. Yeah I think the t3D is fairly new. It uses the same coils as protank 3. It's dual coil so yes it does get pretty warm but it vapes really nice. Much better than the vivi nova in my opnion. I'm liking the bottom coil pretty well. Found a great place that sells the t3D for around 6 dollars genuine. Other stores have them for 18 dollars! I got mine from "my vape store" they are a Pyrex tank and come in different colors. So far it's been great!

Don't toss out the head when you're done with them. You might want to try recoiling them later on. You'll then be saving loads of money. Good luck!

I much prefer my Vivi Nova to my T3D. The draw is to airy on my T3D.
