I am a noob so bear with me.
I saw i must post 5 times in the New Members Information forum before i can post else ware.
** do reply's count or must they be new posts?

** some forums list a number of prior posts required before being able to submit a post, others do not. Does this mean the ones that do not list a number fall under the 5 post rule?

** Not wanting to be guilty of generating "off topic" posts what do you suggest i do prior to meeting the minimum post requirements?
e.g. if i have a post that rightly belongs in the APV Discussion forum, should i put it in the new Members forum without violating protocol?

I am a noob too, but let me tell you what i have experienced:

Yes, replies count. Yay! So, you do not have to generate any new posts, if you don't want to. In fact, you get your five required posts by welcoming other noobs.

I think you can post whatever questions you have here regardless were they should belong, because everyone knows you can't post anywhere else yet....though I see you already have 7 posts, so you should be good to go now. ;)
