Newbie here looking to get a couple tanks for my Innokin Itaste MVP2

What im looking for is a pyrex tank without a lot of fuss and muss. Just wanting pyrex so don't have to worry about what juices I put in it.

Not sure weither to go with clearos or cartos. Here is pretty much how I vape right now. I vape at home and a lot at work constantly on the move at work being a truck driver. Looking for something probably around 2.5ml capacity don't really want a huge tank even though I vape alot :D any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

I've read about cartos, but don't think I will get into them. All the talk about pre-punched, punching holes, etc. makes me think I want to stick with what I know, fill the clearomizer, and screw it on the device and vape. Change the heads once in a while. Simple and works for me.

I have a couple of these Smok Tech Aro Pyrex tanks that I got with my ego starter kit at a local vape shop. I'm now using them with my MVP 2, and they work very well. I'm using these glass tanks for the "tank cracker" juices like cinnamon and citrus. I also have a bunch of the regular Evod clearomizers that I like and use, first with my egos, and now use them with my MVP.

These tanks are reasonably priced and get good reviews:

I would say Kanger aerotank hands down. The new aerotank is pyrex and by far the best constructed tank in my opinion. It hold a good amount of juice and does't have leaking issues like others. The thing that sets the new aerotank aside is the dual coil atomizers. These new coils produce more vapor and flavor and allow you to crank the volts up to about 6 volts. The taste and vapor you get from the new dual coils are not even comparable to the single coil protanks or protank minis. The aerotank also has adjustabe airflow to change the pull and flavor in some juices.

+1 on the Smoktech Aro Pyrex tanks! I have about 6 or 7 of them, and I love them! They are super easy to take care of. Just fill and go and change the coils every so often. And I like the metal sleeve over the pyrex tank. Provides a little extra security to me!

I use several kinds. I stick to simple tanks with a single bottom coil like the Protank 2s. I have never had a leakage problem. I do check to make sure I don't lose my O-rings while washing, etc.

As to the gurgling, someone taught me a trick to eliminate that. Kinda hard to explain, but hopefully an experienced user can do better.

Smoktech has 5ml Champion bcc models that work really well. Never had a problem there either. When it comes to tank sizes, I discontinue using the tank when it gets to about half a ml. I don't want dry hits. I also don't fill it above the top center tube, so I lose a half ml there. I would love to come across a 3.5 or 4ml BCC tank that completely down for easy washing.

Do you mind explaining how to stop the gurgling? I just started vaping a month ago, and bought the protank 2. Was working great up until last week, I overfilled it and then it started leaking from the bottom onto the battery. I tried emptying it a little but it wouldnt stop. So I took the tank apart and soaked it in warm water over night. Woke up in the morning, put it together and it vaped fine for like 5 minutes until it started leaking AND shooting juice up into my mouth. So thinking I screwed it up, I bought another protank 2, not even a minute in and it starts leaking and shooting juice up almost immediately. What gives? Is it really the tank, I leave the battery on the charger and it takes longer than usual, matter of fact I haven't seen it fully charged yet. I feel like I need to start fresh new ego, new tank.

Instead of buying more tanks, get yourself a couple of Kanger Aerotank Bases for those PT II's. Cost about $5 apiece and a lot of your problems will disappear. Or if you have a mini protank II, the bases for them make the PT II's work really nice. And always be sure to prime a new coil when you install it!! JMHO

Flip the tank upside and keep it vertical so no liquid goes into the vertical tube. Take the bottom off, but leave the drip tip on. Raise the tank (sill vertical) just above your head. Put a paper towel on the top end or open end. Blow hard through the drip tip to push any liquid out of the tube and into the paper towel. I do it 2-3 times. Keeping the tank still vertical bring it down and put the bottom piece back on. Make sure everything is on tight. Flip it back over and put it on the Mod. Sometimes as I am loading, a bit of juice gets into the tube.

Also, check the connection to the Mod. Afterwards, I wipe the outside down with an alcohol prep pad.

Works every time.

Hope helps

The DBOX Puritank Glassomizer should be perfect for you :)
