After reading through a large portion of the second continuation of the thread, I am very inclined to purchase a couple samples to test from VZ but I have no clue on how to mix them, that is if there is anything different about mixing superconcentrated flavors. Do you use another flavor as a base for the superconcentrated flavors or do they go well right into an unflavored nicotine mix? Thanks a lot.

I am fairly new to DIY myself. But having tried several flavors from different vendors, I got some of the super concentrates from VZ a few weeks ago. I have only made single flavor mixes and have found them to be excellent. I am primarily a tobacco vaper, so most of what I have tried is tobacco. It is recommended that these be mixed at 2.5%, but being a flavor junkie I mix them slightly higher at 3%-4% and find that they are very good. Remember that these flavors are mixed with PGA instead of PG or VG. This means that they are thinner, and therefore should be measured to determine how many drops per ml. I have found that 47 drops is 1ml which works out to 6 drops per 5mls of base. I think that you will be satisfied with the product. You can vary the strength a drop or two at a time up or down to suit your taste. One of the posters to the forum has gone as high as 8% but that's a bit much for me. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. 47 drops per ml is a huge difference even from my flavors that are already alcohol based. I normally get 30 drops per ml for my alcohol based flavors but now I switched to 1cc syringes with 21g needles so I've been able to get more accurate mixes instead of hoping the drops are accurate (I'm too lazy too measure how many drops per ml everyone of my flavors is :vapor:). I guess I'll be ordering a few to try out. Love that they have a large fruity flavor selection.

I dunno bout those super concentrates. They all taste the same. Well at least they have the same notes present.

Ive been trying to make a variety of tobacco juices, and all of them have that same nutty undertone. Not too impressed, and dropped 50 bucks there trying to find some good concentrates.

Hmm, maybe the sweet, fruity desert flavors taste different. Tasting the same is definitely not something I'm looking forward too :?:

I would say for a couple of them that would be true BUT with steep time the change does happen! Honey Flu Cured is like the same base as Virginia just with the added Honey flavor and that don't change. Dunhill however don't taste anything like Virginia and then there is Parliment, now that is again a totally other beast! Do start with the 2.5% mixing rate and adjust from there and give a good week for tobaccos to blend all the notes - Island tobacco is the one needing the most steep time to gain the full coconut Flavor and is a real treat :)

How much time are we talking? Days? Weeks?

Seems silly to make a juice and have to wait a week to taste its true potential.

I would assume that putting the juice in a warm water bath or shaking it would shorten "steep" time. I do it all the time and I can definitely see my flavors improve and it only takes about 15 minutes.

I have little watertight, glass vials I put my "test" juices in. I shake them, put them in a cup filled with hot water (not boiling though, just the hottest that comes out of the faucet), shake them again. I add a lot of VG to my juices, at least 50%, and it works great for me. So a bowl of hot water should work, I hope they are not the regular plastic bottles used for E-Liquid though because water would get in :)

Where did you get those vials?

I only have the plastic bottles at my disposal right now....

From a science supply store. If you're getting vials, make sure that they have screw-on tops, not "corks" because those will pop off readily in hot water and all your juice is wasted. I'm pretty sure you can use some high grade polyethylene plastic, but I prefer glass since I'm using them a lot to make small 5-6ml batches. Make sure the tops won't pop off if you're getting vials.
