Question about the 3.7 box mod from madvapes

I just got it today, and I love it! my question is......if I forget to push the switch to the off position, will the batt loose its charge? or does it discharge only when the button's depressed?

The button completes the circuit allowing electricity to flow. The switch is a safety feature allowing you to disable the circuit entirely.

You can leave the switch in the on position as much as you want without draining the battery.

It's a good habit to get into, switching off the main, though because if you ever put it in your pocket or it rolls under you when you are sitting on the couch watching TV.. it's possible to ruin your atomiser and/or burn holes in things. I've never had it get so bad to burn a hole in something but once, during a staff appraisal meeting with my boss at work, I had my box mod in my pocket without first turning off the main switch. I ended up "leaning" on the pocket for an extended period of time and almost burned a hole in my pocket.. haha..

Good practise to switch it off but, no it won't drain the battery just by have the main switch on.

I bought a brand new Cisco 306 and got a matching black drip tip from MV. I had it on a Box mod in my jacket pocket and forgot to turn the master switch off. It fired for so long that it totally melted the drip tip all over the inside of my pocket. There wasn't much left. Ironically, the atty still worked once I scraped all the plastic off and removed the bridge!
