Question about the Alpha and compatible batteries

After some time I'm finding the Alpha firing pin is denting all my trustfire batteries causing a loss of connection. Will a flat top battery work better? Is there a better brand battery I could try?

LOL denting? Have you dropped it on the top? We are at the mercy of the battery manufactures there. Lately I have noticed many of the batteries are using a cheap metal that oxidizes very quickly and will cut conection. I have had to actually scrape the top of the battery with a knife to get it to make contact again. A flat top battery will dent as well depending on how you are using it.
