question about the kanger aerotank

Got the aerotank about a week ago. First mistake I made was not looking into tanks, and realizing I needed a kick to use it with my nemesis lol. Tried vaping it without the kick, and it sucks, hardly any flavor or vapor, I then googled and realized I needed a kick. But now I am thinking, once I get the kick, will it vape better? I kind of dont like restricted airflow even with the air control ring but I can deal with it, just want alot more flavor. Will the kick solve all this? I only have expirience with rbas so excuse me being a noob at this

It would allow more air flow yes. But why would you need a kick in order to use it with the nemesis? The coil resistance should determine your vapor production and flavor. Unless you're saying it performs, just not as well. A mech will do that to coils above 1.3 or so , you just don't get the full effect you would if you rebuilt. A kick would allow you to adjust wattage and voltage so theoretically yes you will get a better vape.

Fwiw, I use an aerotank on a stingray and it hits like a train.

yes I believe it came with 2.0 ohm coils which I see is part of the problem. What would you reccomend? rebuilding the coil to lower ohms? or just gettign a kick? Obvioulsy if I can save money I will do that but I also want to be safe

Rebuilding your coil to a lower resistance. I'd aim for 1.2, micro coil with cotton. A kick is an added safety layer as well as a way to make a mech a bit more flexible, but it isn't a requirement. Good luck!

Also if you know your batteries and understand ohm's law you don't need to rely on a kick. If you aren't familiar, I suggest learning ohm's law, testing the resistance of every coil beforehand, and understanding the device and battery limits you're working with

Thanks! Yes I am familiar with ohms law and make sure to test all coils I make with my rba, just have no expirience with tanks so wanted to make sure and ask about everything, I thought that the voltage would be too low without a kick from what I had read, I will most likely try to rebuild one of my coils and test it out
