Question about the Law

Greetings everyone! I'm a new member here, but not new to vapes.
I know this question may have been posted before, i'm sorry. I just couldn't find the thread.
I know that sg has banned the sale of vapes, but whats not clear is that the use of it would likely be illegal too or not?
If not, so say i got a chance to acquire an item for personal use from other contries, like say malaysia. Would it be illegal to bring it here?

P.s. I'm not a local of sg.

It is illegal in sg. Importing, possession , anything, just illegal.

In Singapore, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) are currently prohibited under Secion 16 (1) of the tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act, which is enforced by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA). This legislation prohibits the importation, distribution, sale or offer for sale of any confectionery or other food product or any toy or other article that is designed to resemble a tobacco product or the packaging of which is designed to resemble the packaging commonly associated with tobacco products. HSA takes a serious view on any person who contravenes the law. Those guilty of the offence are liable to a fine of up to $5, 000 upon conviction.

Just to inform you guys that owning a prohibited item is an offense:
Offences & Penalties

No need to vap, no need to import or sell, just say this is my electronic cigarette and fine SGD5k minimum.
So be careful where you vap, dun get caught.
