Hi, I just received my first e-cig (Evo) from InnoVapor! I love it!

I have a question about the charger though. On the website it states that the battery is charged when the light turns to green. My charger keeps flashing been the red and green lights. It never turns to a solid green light. Is this right or is there something wrong with my charger or possibly the battery?

I have charged it on my laptop, my desktop, an AC adapter and a car adapter it does it on all of them. I thought maybe I wasn't letting it charge long enough so I left it charging for around 4 hrs and still no change.

If anyone has some insight as to whether this is normal or not I really appreciate knowing so I can get it exchanged if something is defective.

Thanks,

Mandy

Charger lights are notoriously bad. Some work, some don't. Best way to test it out, leave the batt on it for at least 2 hours (4 is probably even better), use the batt and if the batt lasts a normal amount of time, then the charger is working fine. I usually just ignore the little indicator lights and just charge all my battery models between 2 and 4 hours.

At least that's been my experience.

Yes, chargers from multiple models seem to have this issue. It seems to me that they often don't really cut the circuit once the battery is full, but allow the battery to drain a bit and then start charging again for two seconds until it's full, and then drain it again, etc. so the "charging" and "done" lights flash/alternate.

If that's indeed what's happening, I can't imagine this is good for the battery life. I know the L88b (blu/Volcano) PCC at least tells you up front that once the charging light turns off, you have to unscrew the battery or it will drain the battery and/or pack. (They don't tell you that the light won't STAY off because of the drain/recharge cycle.)

But yeah, if you leave them plugged in for a full charging cycle and the batteries work fine, I wouldn't worry about it. :)
