Question About Throat Hit On A VG Juice

The best throat hit I ever experienced was on a 100% vg liquid called Ecopure by Intellicig. It is no longer selling in the US. IMO the throat hit can NOT possibly come from any of the ingredients since the liquid has only four ingredients - vg, nic, Ethyl Maltol and deionized water. I am guessing the added water (reportedly 18%) helps to increase vapor production, and THAT is what people are perceiving as a good throat hit. Any thoughts on the subject? Just as a test, I have ordered some vg liquid from mount baker Vapor. They have liquids that come with 70% vg and 30% H2o. Has anyone tried that type of liquid?

In my experience PG and NIC both are nearly equal contributors to TH but, flavors can offer a scratchy, almost TH feel too (especially cinnamon, clove, ginger, jalapeno.) So can using vinegar to clean with and not rinsing it well enough after LOL.

I've noticed that different brands of 100% VG nic in my 100% VG DIY juice can have very different TH. I have found a VG nic that doesn't burn my throat so the flavoring has to be the culprit. Most flavoring have PG in them and some more than others.
