Question about using Atty's with my Reo Mini

When using Atty's how often should you squeeze the bottle. I understand the way you vape it with an atty is you press the bottle until you see the liquid in the catch cup, take a quick dry hit and the vape.....Correct? But how often should you squeeze....every time you hit it or every other time....Any suggestions...I don't wanna flood the atty.

I haven't had my Reo Mini very long, but you should be able to tell by the taste - it will taste dry and start to have the burny taste. I usually get about 8 puffs before I have to squonk again - sometimes less depending on how long I draw.

I usually get about 7-10 good draws in between squeezes or give it a little squeeze when the flavor drops off. If you flood the atty just blow it out and start over.

I forgot about the 510 atty but with a 306 I just squeeze the bottle and suck at the same time until I feel the juice is in the atty. With a 306 I get anywhere between 5-10 hits and then squeeze again. Really just try it out after an hour you will know exactly how many hits. Glad you are trying your luck with attys buddy!!

I just give a light squeeze while sucking the atty til I feel the gurgle, about every 5-10 drags - it really depends how long your drags are. I've also gotten into the habit of dry hitting before firing, spreads the juice that's in the atty and lets me know if there isn't any - no more dry hits.

The quantity of vapes per squonk varies greatly by a lot of different factors. The 306 uses more juice per fire. The LR attys as a whole burn hotter and use more juice. The way you vape will make a difference, a longer vape uses more juice. The suction during the vape can also effect use of juice.
So, with that being said, I will say it is totally up to your vaping style and atty.
I will also say this. I have found that the best, most flavorable vape seems to come right before the burned taste. That wonderful vape makes me want to hit again, and then Yuck!!! Time to squonk!
The blind squonking works best for me, draw while squeezing, when you feel resistance and here the gurgle stop squonking!

I tried the blind squonking with a carto and got a mouthful of juice. I haven't used an atty that much yet. I just ordered Cisco 1.5's from Avid...I think those are the ones want to quit recommended to me.

Definitely varies.... with a 1.5ohm 306 (I take huge pulls) I get 3-4 nice vapes before I have to squonk...

If I can see what Im doing, I love the regular squonk technique (press bottle til holes around catch cup start to show liquid)...

otherwise, I do the blind squonk (pull on the mouthpiece, press bottle until I can feel a slight gurgle)

Either one works for me

I recommend counting your drags....start off with 4 or 5 drags...then a small squeeze....then 5 more drags...and a small squeeze. Just to get the feel of it.

Do not let it fill. The juice should just appear at the holes, then disappear when you release.

Just squeeze until the juice pops out a little bit.

Cisco 1.5 306's are a little persnickity. It's easy to over and under juice them, so be patient.

I found a cheap 510 Atty I had, dewicked it and started using it. What a much cleaner tasting vape. I just gotta get the timing done. The dry hit is horrible.

You really should vape it almost dry, 5 hits or so, after you squonk and before you sit it down. If a 510 atty is full when you set it aside, it will drain into your catch cup, and you could get juice all over you. 306's stay a bit drier.

You should also suck up any juice in the catch cup with a short hard unfired hit when you pick it up again.

with a carto and blind squonking you have to draw super light and stop almost as soon as you start.
It works out to about 1/10th the amount you squonk for an atty
