I normally vape at 3.7v with a 80% PG 20%VG mix. With EVERY juice from several vendors where I have had more than 30% VG I start to find a nasty taste and a juice that just doesn't vape well.

I have heard quite a few good things about Boba's bounty and I kind of want to try a decent tobacco juice. I'm just concerned since I have yet to try a VG juice that I have liked. Should I even give BB a shot?

What other tobacco flavors from other vendors should I try?

I like strictlyejuice.com 36mg 100%VG tobacco flavor. Very nice. Currently, I am using a home made tobacco extraction from fine aromatic pipe tobacco, in pure VG. It is very nice. Not as strong a flavor as other tobaccos, but the quality is much better. I don't like vaping PG, but I'll vape it(in limited quantities) if I have it.

I have to ask. How do you vape VG juices? I know that a lot of people do but they taste burnt most of the time to me. Are you using a 510 at 3.1v?

Yep, just takes a little practice. Need to keep the atty wet, and clean when necessary. I also thin out my homebrews so they work well. About the same consistency as PG.

If PG agrees with you, IMHO consider yourself lucky and roll with it. I haven't found a VG tobacco that I really like. Alien's 555 is acceptable. Do not like the sweet/chocolatey flavor of Boba's. I haven't found anything terribly offensive about the VG juices, they just don't taste as good or vape as well.

Have you tried strictlyejuice VG tobacco flavor. It is really good, certainly worth $10 for 30ml shipped.:2c:

Oh, trust me I do. If VG was my only option I'm not sure that I would have stuck with vaping.

I'm not specifically looking for a VG tobacco but I was wondering if my VG concerns are unfounded. Some people seem to like VG and I've just always wondered why and how they vape it.

I would love a good PG tobacco recommendation. Preferably a PG mix with no more than 20 or 30% VG really.

What do you use for thinning? I ruined some juices with Grain alcohol.

Alien Visions whole VG line vapes well.

If you want a strong tobacco flavor, go for havana... or mix havanna and bobas or havana and flue cured.

Honestly, I find high quality VG works as good as PG on my atties.

VapeRite has great VG juices.

Ecopure is very good VG.

Why: because PG puts me to sleep (but I vape a lot). How: eGo with cartomizer, syringe fill

Halo torque56 is my fav but I like some of their menthols too. They are 100% PG.

I haven't tried thinning but I might give it a shot some time. VG is thick so it doesn't wick into the carts as easily, and it seems to absorb the heat away from the coil instead of putting it all into vapor production.

I thin w/ water. Alot of my juices are food extract based, so no need to thin.
Thanks
How did you make that VG based tobacco DIY? I'm thinking of picking up some VG at Walmart or something and soaking some wintergreen Cope or Snus int it and straining it out with a coffee filter after a while.

So, only their 36mg is available in VG?

Yep, but I like it that way. Nothing works for me but 36mg in the morning. Fortunately, I got my 100mg VG from the coop, and I am one happy camper this morning.True, I think they should have some lower dose juice in VG, and from what they have told me in e-mail, they are working on getting more VG juices in as well as opening a store front in my neck o' the woods. Can't wait!

You're vaping 100mg straight up? That'll get your motor running.
